We also need to heavily publicize the fact that we now have many therapeutics that can substantially mitigate the dangers and discomforts of many of the diseases for which we now vaccinate. Also, hygiene, personal and general public hygiene, has massively reduced the overall contagion of these diseases, compared to a hundred years ago when large numbers of people would die from them.
