Many “actual scientists” who worked with him, said he had ‘no business being at his position.’ So, yes, ‘he represented science to the public.’ But, the “dangerous” aspect came from the fact he lied as a matter of professional method, and feared he would be found out.

I don’t have any documentation to provide to you but I vividly remember Fauci saying “I am the science.” I think it occurred during a senate hearing when being questioned by Rand Paul.
The words “EARNESTLY” came from Fauci’s lips.
