Need to reevaluate the meat industry. Should not be at the top of the food pyramid. And it’s an extremely cruel industry. People have no idea. There are other ways to get protein. Fruits and vegetables contain protein. Legumes are a great way to get protein and you can make amazing recipes with them.
Think about what giraffes and gorillas live off of. Don’t need to torture animals for meat.

I was ovo-lacto-pesco vegetarian for 17 years. It is not easy to do it well and with a family of meat-eaters!
If you search for farmers who butcher anìmals humanely on a small scale, the animals and meat is tended to the way it was meant to be.
I also tried it but became a low energy creature, ready for an offer from an Assisted Suicide maniac.
