She was cooking with investment, replenishment, and movement....until she added silly little adjustments in.

Adjustments happen naturally everyday. If you rent a car, I know you will adjust the seat. Think of life with a positive ability to adjust! Opening your opportunities to find what works for you! Its your beautiful life that matters! Cheers!! ~ Dr Sherry McAllister

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, I've read many studies on adjustments. They do no better than sham touch therapy. Same goes for chiropractic, especially since subluxations do not exist. Best! ~ Dr. Scam

Deep! Got any supp discount codes?

Truth Seeker's avatar

A release resulting in cavitation is not identical to an adjustment.

Hopefully the later is highly specific.

My daughter went to a chiropractor for adjustments almost weekly for years, after being a passenger in two bad auto accidents. The chiropractor didn't discuss her diet. Ligaments won't hold, when adjustments are made, unless the person is eating nutritional food. My daughter was eating many processed foods, which prevented her from healing. Of course, she didn't want to hear anything from her mother. I had a bad accident in 1991 and broke all the small bones in my right foot from a fall from the third floor of my condo. Three years later, I was a finisher in the L..A. Marathon at 60 years old..and i also did two more. marathons. The last one at 70. No problems with my foot! I happen to be very much into eating as much natural raw food as possible, which contributes to healing. I avoid processed food.

Cool unverifiable story that does not invalidate massive studies showing chiropractic adjustments are no better than placebo.

Truth Seeker's avatar

Massive eh? Is that a third grade level comment???

Truth Seeker's avatar

What you mention is most definitely accurate. To overstand this better,

an adjustment is re-establishing to the extent possible, normal joint function.

Chiro's are faced with pre-existing conditions, commonly known as degenerative changes. Often not discovered until post accident.

The right diet facilitates healing on every level, and is a basic "pillar" or tenet of health... Processed food is not food, it is health destroying garbage.

No one should ever click on a scamster link. He is a dolt clickbaiter.

These are the comments I get when someone can’t point out a single specific thing I am incorrect about.

Holding intention, the intention to help, is also the basis for effective prayer and meditation.

‘Investment,’ McAllister said, is really about intention.

“The deposits we put in today are going to show up later.”

This is not about finances but whether daily choices are building the future we want or quietly depleting it.

Swimming Alcatraz is too much. I respect that and am glad she lived.

Growing your own kitchen garden is good for you in every way. Push your fingers into the soil. Feed the soil and your microbiome. Sweat in the sun. It's all "antidepressant" and sustains your immune system and longevity.

Truth Seeker's avatar

Excellent advice. Did so earlier today. Decades ago had the epiphany that gut health

was totally interdependent on soil health. Have a worm farm that is thriving to feed garden vegetables with castings but also liquid gold enhanced with EM1...

Truth Seeker's avatar

Indeed, grow as much as possible with whatever skillset available.

When more knowledge is required it does in fact appear...

Also know you growers, their philosophy, geography, cultivation techniques...

I always get a kick out of doctors commenting on anything from a Chiropractor, always negative! Perhaps if the medical community had some positive health outcomes to rely on we would actually listen to their negative demeanor. We have the worst health outcomes in the industrialized world and the medical community is at least partially responsible!

The Scam Doctor's avatar

I assume you're referencing our decreased lifespan? That's largely driven by people dying young: gun violence, car accidents, drug overdose, etc. Our health outcomes are so incredibly good, that the wealthiest and most prominent people from around the world come to America for care.

Truth Seeker's avatar

No Scammer you are conflating. By the time one is willing to migrate cross continent

for "care" there is desperation. American Medical Docs are the best at Emergency Medicine, Surgical procedures, and some infecitions. Like Bugs Bunny says...

Thats all Folks...

Other licensed Doctors the largest % being Chiropractors have always taken up the slack, often as last ditch efforts. The best MD's as mentioned employ stategies outside their didactic traing... There are thousands of details north of thy bandwidth.

The Scam Doctor's avatar

Yes, the best MDs refer to Registered Dietitians, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, talk therapists, etc. NOT chiropractors.

Truth Seeker's avatar

The best doctors are not known to scammers. PT's are not doctors they are therapists... Scammers are dolts...

Frank's avatar

Wow! Not even thinking of decreased lifespan. We have the highest rate of avoidable disease, infant and maternal mortality and on and on. What’s really incredible is that we’re paying twice as much for it compared to other countries! Even when 1/2 the U.S. has Free access to healthcare.

Truth Seeker's avatar

There is a simple reason. Low Back Pain is about 1/3 or the health care dollar.

MD's are a total failure having nothing useful, but worse terrible advice.

Millions of satisfied chiro patients vote with their dollars.

The Medical Cartel is facilitated by their bosses Big P. Has never been different.

Health is a much larger picture...

Frank's avatar

Low back pain caused by gait. Obesity is the common thread and the Orthopedic Surgeon relishes the patient, regardless of guidelines. So much money so much failure.

Truth Seeker's avatar

The list of maladies that are not causative or associated with low back pain is short in comparison. Obesity enhances degenerative arthritis, but also plays havoc with gait. Recently had a relative well over 200#s complain about ankle pain... No kidding...

cynthia's avatar

Acupuncture should be included!!

The Scam Doctor's avatar

You're right! It's just as much of a placebo effect as adjustments.

The pearl in this article: "She (Chiropractors) connects joint function with proprioception or knowing where the body is in space; sensory-motor integration or the brain’s ability to use sensory information to coordinate movement; balance and posture; and neuroplasticity or the brain’s ability to adapt and reorganize itself over time.

Proprioception is also know as position sense, directly related to sense of well being. Central nervous system is complex, joint dsyfunction accelerates Degeneraton. The adjustment, skillfully performed, re-establishes to the extent possible, normal joint function. It can arrest degenerative changes to some extent reverse. Americans vote with their dollars, the wisest

do not follow their insurance coverage...

Truth Seeker's avatar

Possibly the best article on offer consistent with the Health Message.

Most chiros have their personal story, Dr. Sherry no different.

Balancing the nervous system via adjusting the intervertebral joints is a large

part of the equation. The pillars or tenet of health have not changed.

Picture of health producing food were a major tell in this article unlike

many previous "cookout" promos.

The fact that Insurance does not cover exams or anything excepting spinal manipuation

is a major deficit of Gubmint programs...

KimMA's avatar

Can we please change what is “standard of care” that insurance will cover? Let the patient decide what they want to do, whether that is chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, sauna/infrared sauna, etc. our “health “ insurance should cover it. Along with alternative testing like expanded blood tests, hormone tests, stool samples etc. These are the things that really support long term sustainable health deposits. Not pharmaceuticals. I am so sick of paying these insurance providers for just being roadblocks and shills for big pharma. We, the people, need to demand to get our bodily autonomy back from these “doctors”, so that we can decide what is the right path. If you want to take a statin..Fine, none of my business, but you should also be allowed to make other decisions for yourself in partnership with a professional. And Doctors shouldn’t be afraid of losing their licenses because they go outside the “standard of care” and decide not to pander to what the administrators and the AI is shoving down their throats.

Truth Seeker's avatar

Patients have been deciding for decades, they do not require permission.

Clearly by the procedures mentioned you have much experience.

Standards of care is double speak for license control. Has not been different

in many decades.. As you point of AI is conflating the equation further...

Truth Seeker's avatar

Of course, may as well expose it fully for the normies.

Soon the time will be ripe to delineate the cause of health.

This article turns favorable in that direction.
