A federal advisory committee meets July 23-24 to decide whether pharmacies can fill peptide prescriptions. Voters support the change. Some FDA scientists don't.
I find it interesting (to put it nicely) that with regard to vaccines, the FDA, CDC and their respective advisory committees have no problem with the lack of proper safety/efficacy studies, basically rubber-stamping almost all new vaccines. AND that 'critics' are suddenly concerned about advisory panel ties to the peptide industry, while they turn a blind eye (or even support) VRBPAC's and ACIP's actual ties to vaccine makers. Yet, for products that actually support and/or improve health (i.e. peptides), these "regulatory" agencies suddenly grow a "conscience" and apply strict scrutiny. Hypocrites, all.
It is good to see compounding positioned as legal, regulated, and ethical, as it is and has been for many decades. Nearly all articles written by MSM (and influenced by big pharma) consistently pair the words “illegal” or “illegitimate” with “compounding.” The only “illegal” making of drugs is the gray market mentioned in the article, where the entities preparing the drug are not licensed, inspected, or required to meet rigorous quality standards. As a professional who worked in this industry for 25 years, I’m proud to see compounding recognized as a legal and critical part of our healthcare system in providing therapies prescribed by doctors when no FDA-approved drug exists to treat the unique needs of those patients.
Off topic: I kept asking why Kennedy has not taken the Covid vaccine off the market but then I saw Elizabeth Warren go after him recently for not “recommending”” certain vaccines. And his argument was that they are still available for those who want them.
And then I remembered before he got appointed secretary, some in Congress were worried that he was going to take vaccines off the market and he said he would not do that. They would be available for those who want them.
No randomized double-blind placebo controlled trials for these. Saline placebo, or any placebo. No double blind trials. No human trials at all for some of these. "Voters support the change." What voters?
Actually, some of these "peptides" haven't undergone any studies in humans. Not even Phase 1 basic pharmacokinetics and toxicology evaluation. But no biggie ...

When I read Vaccination is NOT Immunization by Dr. Tim O'Shea and saw the items in childhood vaccines listed...I came to the realization what a scam the entire vaccine industry was
So the FDA was great about have zero double blind placebo trials, nor years of study and follow up, for the Covid mRNA shots (NOT VACCINES) and let them get a free pass, yet they want to restrict peptides which have been used for years for the most part safely?
