I agree. Almost 40% of Americans are willing to be told to stay home if the gubmint says so. That's truly frightening IMHO. But at least majority still rules in this country. At least for now!

Even with over 90% of citizens opinions, today it doesn't matter. We are living in an occupied country (and world) controlled by corporations. Fascism is government by business interests. Our professional politicians are obedient to the hand that feeds THEM. Corporations are just cover for the oligarchs and wealthy trying to retain their wealth and power. The triangle of military, food and pharmaceutical along with energy rules our world and influence of the media manufactures consent. This is true about almost all issues today. My question is why is MAHA so aligned with the Republican party and Trump and willing to campaign for them in the coming midterms if we have them? Trump wants to federalize voting and if he gets his way, then what? I live in Minneapolis where we have been under siege by a tyrannical administration with the Republicans in the state and country saying its the Democrats fault .
