Alas, criminologists rarely examine fundamentals like what people eat every day or environmental toxins.
As I have read it, the deal is that the US drug corps will sell to Americans as they do abroad. Well that is no win as the foreign prices can be raised thus allowing American prices to also raise. Trump and the GOP will always feed the corporate beast and Trump is only and all about money. The Dems are not much better as every lollipop given the publc is really a bigger deal for the corporations. The social issues the Parties use to divide the public are all distractions and never really provide any meaningful benefits to anyone.
The deal must be to start presenting exposes to the public about the science of harm behind the drugs--all of them: vaccines, mRNA drugs, heart and diabetes meds, etc. The public needs to be educated and the propaganda machine exposed. We do have history here to look at. Remember the Tobacco industry that promoted cigarette smoking as healthy and paying doctors to front this lie. People who have memories that go back to the 1940-60's will recall the TV and magazine pictures, full page with great smiles and smoking for their health! It took years of effort to dig up the industry smoking gun (pardon the pun) that provided court valid evidence. Today we have a lot more evidence of medical industry harm to use. All this needs to be put together in one big expose report that covers it all instead of the little bits here and there such as vioxx dangers or HRT for woman. The disaggregation of issues as if each stands alone is one of the ways they minimize the harm and the propaganda machine.
