Great move..The small farmers of America should receive the majority of this $700M. Big Ag has almost destroyed the soil with its pesticides, NPK fertilizer (missing 70 elements) and its poor agricultural farming methods.. Soil Health is of maximum importance. Consumers should not be paying for produce, which has no nutrient-value. Healthy soil! Healthy people!

How can Zeldin say he is committed to fighting PFAS when EPA just approved 10 new PFA PESTICIDES TO BE SPRAYED ON OUR FOOD?!?

The EPA must ban pesticides and protect the earth and the people. Healthy plants from healthy soil have built-in resistance. The EPA is protecting the Chemical Pesticide iIndustry...not the people or the environment Is it another agency, which should not exist? .

I get it. There is no "safe" amount of toxins. Am thinking clueless Americans need to learn what is and is not food. Otherwise "we" are reliant of the Gubmint to save us.

They have no such history...

The people in government have all destroyed their brains from the toxic society we live in...rotten foods, alcohol, drugs, vaccines, chemicals, etc....They are going through life disconnected from the TRUTH (our Creator) , because their brains have been damaged from their lifestyles. The Pineal Gland which is our transmitter-receiver with our Creator has been wiped out. We are supposed to ask for guidance. It is FREE and open to everyone.

Interesting that you mention the Pineal. In antiquity they referred to it, as the "seat of the soul". They were on to something to say the least.

It is true the Fl calcifies the Pineal slowly. There are assertions of microcurrent therapies to decalcify. No opinion on that.

Asking for guidance requires a humility that few possess.

There is a subgroup in the Gubmint that are high functioning patriots.

Oddly some are running on toxic food... They must be getting other sustenance.

Chi! Prana! Manna! from Heaven for doing good. I look at my early years as a miracle...no food for years! Then, 'garbage' as my mother was a dedicated teacher who knew nothing about nutrition (Macaroni and cheese right out of the package), She was a very good woman...and was totally into prayer. I didn't get into the study of nutrition, until I was 27. I was totally ignorant about the subject. ....My brother-in-law handed me some health and nutrition books and told me "Start reading you're listening to the wrong people.!" I kind of thought to myself, as I opened the first book in 1961. ""You're not a doctor." However, he was into body building ...and had won the Mr. Universe contest in London!. I thanked him every time I saw him over the years...and told him that he saved our lives. My life was never the same, after i got into the study of health and nutrition. It became my passion!

The fear about plastics is overstated. No one has a credit card amount in their tissues.

However the concern about Per Fluorinated chemicals is very real.

Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), Perfluorooctyl Sulfonate (PFOS) and Other Perfluorinated Chemicals in food?? The so called forever chemical do not break down into less toxic substrates in human biology.

Any grower with basic biological knowledge figured this out even from the Philosophical angle. Those with Biology or Chemistry backgrounds know this information is basic.

Why does the FDA in the EPA allow toxic chemicals in scented products? Plug-in air fresheners are the worst. Scented laundry products, scented kitty litter, scented candles,. Now they're making wrapping paper scented . Garbage bags are scented. Can't get away from it. These toxins fill the lung sacs. If you're chemical sensitive, it's brutal out there. Every restroom has an air freshener releasing toxins. On top of that personal care products, perfumes, colognes, hair products are all scented with toxic chemicals.

A successful pilot project with top level support will put regenerative farming into a place where consumers and the marketplace will regulate chemicals out of our lives. It's really up to us as consumers to effectively control toxins in the long run. Thank you Secs Kennedy and Rollins!

The farmers who feed the soil using Organic techniques have always existed.

As you mention educating people about health is the only real solution.

Health does not come from Needles, or from toxic chemicals...

Where can one find information on the $700M Pilot Program? I looked on USDA site, nothing in their 'Newsroom' and searches on obvious key words came back nada.

How does this fit in with the EPA and USDA allowing toxic chemicals to be sprayed on our food and through chemtrails? And why does FDA allow these products on the market?

Definite Progess in the only sane direction.

The EPA is a criminal racket like other ABC agencies.

We are in the fix it from within part of the equation.

Do not think that possible, efficient, or workable.

Time will tell . In the meantime... Let 'em eat cake??

Trump knows he really hurt farmers and ranchers with his ridiculous deal with Argentina to the benefit of finance capital. So he's nominally supporting some high profile programs like this, which can be helpful but don't address the real problems of the domination of our food production industry by giant corporations which keep farmers on the edge of failure. The hypocrisy is crystal clear in the multiple promotions of the chemical industry, like the one cited by Michael Kane. Sec. Rollins has made some good statements lately critical of the agro industrial complex, but the proof is still to be seen.

Thank You, John. Regenerative Ag. is easy in my vegetable gardens, and I hope that this initiative has staying power.

"Field peas" are a good start, but the whole time-is-money aspect works against anything except surviving season to season in our financial-economy. There are lots of vulture funds ready to snap up indebted farms.

;-(

I hope that at least crop rotations and regenerative crops may be worked in.

Good start. I believe we spend about 150B on farm subsidies so this is a toe in the water. Maybe make a straight out allowance that pays more than corn or soybeans to farmers who transition.. Then make sure you get someone like Will Harris to check to see that they are doing it right.

Now MAHA needs to get rid of PFAS sprayed on our food like TFA. Tetrafleuracetic acid used in pesticides is on the increase and is toxic to humans. Affects reproduction and the hepatic systems. Europe is about to ban it. We need to follow suit. Wake up MAHA!
