I tremendously laud this powerful commentary. RFK Jr and Tony Lyons are doing incredible work. A parallel area that I am working on is the medical industrial complex and the cancer industry. With my 50 years of clinical medical experience, there needs to be dramatic change in how cancer is prevented, screened, diagnosed, and treated. I will be addressing this in the update to my book Vital Strategies in Cancer. Whenever MAHA is ready, I can assist in leading in this area. In the meantime, all the best to this GREAT movement!

Hallelujah! A voice of reason!

My husband had surgery a year ago to remove the lymph nodes from the back of his abdomen from seminoma stage 2 cancer. He had been diagnosed at the Mayo in April of 2024. His tumor was 4.7cm, too big for surgery. They advised him to do chemo. He refused to do so, and sought alternate treatment. He was able to shrink the tumor from 4.7cm to 1.7cm using the information from a blood test we had to send overseas that grew his cancer cells and tried 23 different substances to see what worked. High dose vitamin C had 51% cell death! Resveratrol had 58% cell death! He did a lot of other protocols and supplements in addition to taking the top 8 substances from the blood test, and we went on a keto diet. He was able to keep the cancer from matastising and shrink the tumor to the point where he could have surgery. No chemo. We were headed back east to visit family, and contacted the Mayo for a 1 yr follow-up, to see if they wanted to check out how he was able to shrink the tumor. They told him if he hadn't done chemo, they didn't even want to see him!! Here is where it gets really interesting. I remembered the Mayo saying the tumor was too big for surgery and started researching. I found out about the RPLND surgery that would remove the cancer. We contacted big name hospitals, Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, MD Anderson, UC Davis Norris Keck, etc.. All but UC Davis said he had to do chemo before they would do the surgery, or told him to just do chemo.l. During our research, Indiana University kept popping up, and I saw a 2018 interview with a doctor from there talking about this surgery. We discovered this surgery was pioneered at Indiana University Health back in the 1960s. We contacted the doctor, and he said he would do it. We asked him if he was mad my husband had not done chemo. He said "We do not know everything there is to know about cancer, and who am I to say that what you have been doing wrong, esp since you've been able to keep it from growing and matastising for a year and a half." It was such a relief to hear someone who was not arrogant and closed minded.

To this day, I get letters from the Mayo asking to donate money to help with research to "find new and innovative way to help us fight cancer". I'm sure you can imagine what I tell them, and where they can go.

I had a rapidly growing vaginal tumor in 1976. Two doctors gave me no guarantees without immediate surgery...and i told the second one who really pressured me that I was going home to say a prayer. Well I prayed and a book came into my hands in a day or so...I felt it was the answer. I went on nothing, but raw fruit and vegetables...and in less than three months the tumor disappeared. Twelve years later, i developed another bulbous growth with spikes coming out of it above my right breast...and I checked what I was eating. Too much honey in my herb teas...So I eliminated the honey...and in less than three months a little pink spot was the only thing left. I learned that excess fat, excess protein and excess carbs fed the growth of tumors. Nothing grows without a fuel.

Why would anyone do radiation therapy when radiation is a substance that causes cancer? This is something about modern medicine that makes me believe that they are trying to keep you sick and a customer.

Claire Doody's avatar

Why would anyone ask that question?

Teekers's avatar

And since you are a "medical educator" you should appreciate this

First of all, I never gave an age of my husband. He was 54, not 70-something. Dr. Kelly presented him to his weekly tumor conference BECAUSE it was so unusual for someone to have this cancer at this age. Secondly, he was DIAGNOSED at stage 2. He kept if from metastasizing to further stages. Thirdly, we DID ask for radiation and the Mayo said no, and would not give a reason. Does that clear things up for you?

MAHA’s Corrupting Influence in HHS and Beyond; While MAHA wellness political appointees and influencers lambast conventional medicine, they have amassed their own wellness empires built on selling products and ideas based on distorted views of public health.

HHS senior advisor Calley Means, who has repeatedly used his platforms to promote dangerous and false health information, founded the company TrueMed which relies on a legally dubious business model.

Leading MAHA figure Mark Hyman, who has close financial and personal ties to Kennedy, Mehmet Oz, and the Means siblings, oversees a wellness empire that stands to benefit significantly from HHS policies under Kennedy.

... substantial conflicts of interest that jeopardize their ability to serve in their roles effectively ... already benefited from Secretary Kennedy’s promotion of wearable health tracking devices ... also violated FTC rules on influencer marketing by failing to adequately disclose sponsorship relationships in dozens of web and social media posts promoting wellness products. In total, she failed to disclose her relationship 79 out of 140 (56%) times she promoted products from companies with which she has financial relationships.

I am going to say this again and again, look up how many employees are employed by the CDC and what party they belong to and who is their “go to” charitable 501.c.3. The American Academy of Pediatrics fall into this same category. So apparently people would put a political party ahead of the health of their own well being and their children’s health as well? The largest political party (or non-political party) in the US are the non-voters. There is a reason for this.

The biggest problem in the health care field is that most people are willing to outsource their health care to others. Most people think that they are not smart enough to take care of themselves. The problem with that is that our current medical profession cares only about making a return on investment and the people be damned.

It is not until the people realize that they must take charge of their own health by rejecting the mainstream medical way of doing things and figuring out what works best for them. All the information is out there.

A good place to start is to realize that you should never puncture your protective membrane called your skin. It is there for a reason. The second thing to realize is that if the food you are eating did not exist 500 years ago, don't eat it!

Excellent summary, so glad Tony had a chance to speak like this, thank you for covering it.

An excellent interview! Tony Lyons did a fine job of articulating the issues and making them understandable. He's such a fine spokesman for MAHA!

I wish Tony had said more to laud more about RFK Jrs efforts - like improving school, hospital and military meals. Eat Real Food!!

And why would anyone pump poison into their body? A consultation with a recommended doctor gave us more info on what would happen. He also said to do chemo, but explained the side effects my husband would have for the rest of his life:

High blood pressure ("But we have a pill for that")

High cholesterol ("But we have a pill for that")

Neuropathy ("But we have medication for that")

Gut issues ("But we have medication for that, too") NONE of which my husband has.

So, recommend a poison that shuts down your bone marrow, and then keep you on Big Pharma's tit for the rest of your life. The Mayo said, "we know we can kill this cancer with chemo, we've been doing it with this protocol for 40 years." My first thought was, "And in 40 years you never thought to try something else??"

And the lady above in the thread, treating herself with whole food, is right. Big Ag is in cahoots with Big Pharma. Our food has been poisoned by Big Ag, which keeps Big Pharma making billions, which I would bet my life they kick back to Big Ag.

This cancer journey with my husband has opened my eyes up to the farce of our healthcare system. When companies are allowed to "self certify" that a chemical THEY MAKE is safe for human consumption, something is seriously wrong. It is total Bovine Scatology. We have been too complacent and have believed the medical world is honorable, and that is the furthest from the truth.

"When companies are allowed to "self certify" that a chemical THEY MAKE is safe for human consumption, something is seriously wrong."

You described the entire supplement industry - Not drugs, not biologics - But "wellness remedies."

Teekers's avatar

Maybe. But I would trust a natural supplement before I would trust a corporate manufacturer stating this new chemical going into food, or being sprayed on what will become food, is safe. What did we do BEFORE Big Pharma and Big Ag started synthetically manufacturing chemicals?

Let me ask you this, do you think Vitamin C can be considered medicine?

Teekers's avatar

Thank you. My problem? According to my insurance, Vitamin C is not medicine, so they wouldn't pay for infusions. $185 twice a week over 1.5 years added up. They will pay half a million for chemo, and all the meds afterwards, but not for Vitamin C infusions.

Teekers's avatar

He did a blood test that extracted the cancer cells, grew them to a certain size, and tried 23 different substances on them to see what worked. High dose Vitamin C had 58% cell death. He had 8 substances that were above 30% cell death.

We will continue to suffer and struggle with quality of life issues and the demise of health and well-being (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) as individuals, communities and as a society in direct proportion to our distance from the truth.

We seem to have forgotten that our survival and progress on planet earth for over the past 300,00+ years, in every aspect of our existence, has ultimately been more dependent upon our ability to cooperate, work together and help each other than our ability to destroy each other. It will always be that way.

I've been in the healthcare, health, healing of the human condition and optimizing human potential space for many years.

When RFK Jr originally formulated the MAHA slogan and movement - the first time that the health of the population became a national discussion platform - it inspired me to launch Health Reform 2025: The Wellness Initiative (now Health Reform 2026 @ HealthReform2026.org) calling for the formation of a U.S. Department of Wellness to spearhead addressing the "upstream issues" (and there are many) that are at the root cause of the "health crisis" causing the "healthcare crisis" in America.

We have become a conflicted society driven by unhealthy political ideologies... that's unfortunate.

Health Reform 2026 is my contribution - a bold and innovative approach - in support of the essence of what I believe RFK Jr desires to accomplish = healthy people --> healthy America.

Executive Summary @ https://lnkd.in/gDfvMBa6

Cooperation between both government and industry is both required and mandatory at this time in history to solve the problems that both have contributed toward.

Without cooperation things are guaranteed to get worse.

"Every profound advancement for the benefit of humanity began as an idea, followed by a conversation." Source: healthreform2026.org

and...

"There is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things. For the reformer has enemies in all those that profit from the old order, and only lukewarm defenders in all those who would profit by the new order."

Conclusion: We live in exciting yet challenging times. Do we have the passion, compassion for humankind, as well as the testicular fortitude necessary to launch policies and strategies that will heal both the population and our nation?
