I sent the MAHA Food video with RFK, Jr. showing the promotion of natural food on to my mailing list. The right unprocessed pesticide-free food is so important in order to be healthy. It was good seeing in this video the emphasis on healthy soil. Pesticides kill the organisms in the soil, which provide nutrients to the crops. Consumers are paying for no-nutrient food. Big Ag needs to "go organic" and "grow organic" for everyone. It would help change the status of America, which used to be #1 in World Health... and is now in 47th place.
Humans lived for thousands of years in the beginning on unprocessed, organic, pesticide-free food ...and today people have no idea the food they eat is breaking down their health and killing them.
They've poisoned three generations. Knowingly. Intentionally. For money. If you poisoned someone and they died, what would that be called? And if you took money to poison them? What would be the punishment?
Now, if they would outlaw GMOs like hundreds of other countries have, our health would start to recover. They can’t spray that on pure plants because it would kill them. And not so much of pesticides also.
I know Poland and India have, I was pretty sure others had as well. GMOS are empty calories. Without minerals, your body can’t absorb vitamins and the body is made to get its nutrients from food. I remember a video posted by two Indian doctors way back that explained why they stopped GMOs. Monsanto had convinced some of the cotton farmers to use GMOs. The ones that did found that the new cotton couldn’t used as seeds for the next year as before. A large number of the farmers lost everything and many committed suicide. It was devastating for the cotton industry in India. That’s why I thought it was banned.
Just curious!!!!!!….most countries have banned most of these toxic ingredients we are able to get away with here….could it be they have ‘Universal Health Insurance’ and this country makes so much money out of people being sick? Just a thought!
We need to stop allowing companies like Blackrock from owning and buying farms. When large corporations own anything, profit $$$ is the boss. That's what happened to American food.

It is very simple. Do not ever consume non organic chemical laden, pesticide residual GMO anything. Vote with your dollars, pay zero attention to adverts, and most definitely do not depend on ABC agencies for being responsible for personal health. Laws are not the way forward. Learning about health, its causation, will pay dividends thoughout life.
Find a health care provider, who actually knows and lives the time honored priciples.
Too bad even organic food in the stores and even local farmers is not organic. You pay heavier prices for it though. I grow mine, but the soil isn't even true organic. Aluminum, forever chemicals, mosquito spraying, round up....
Regulations on paper may be stringent, but enforcement isn't when truths are told. Organic should be cheaper without the overhead of pesticides and using natural fertilizers like electroculture and soul amendments. All food should be safe and nutritious. Shut the companies down that want to continue to poison us.
Certifications have been legal loopholes obviously. Goes down to brass tacks with these companies. Start exposing their lies over every single MSM station. This is a small amount of force to wake people on both sides without civil war breaking out. They need to comply or shut down. Enough fraud has been shown to recover their profits to help communities with start ups and maintenance. Return the power back to the people. If you leave it up to the bureaucrats who are very skillful in deception, we lose.

What I find disappointing is that all of these food companies have chemists and biochemists in their research labs that know the poisons they are putting in the food. I suggest they all get fired and real ones hired to go through all of the foods being distributed from each company. Fire the boards and CEO's for putting money and greed before the Americans' health. Why are we giving companies years to improve the food and also allowing the FDA to control what "they think" is safe. Fire them too. Strip everything down. Computers manage the input of ingredients and can shut them off with a button. Nanoparticles, glue, arsenic, pesticides -the list goes on and on about what is saturating our food. It's not only about the children, but the entire planet. Non GMO that really isn't because the "FDA" gives allowances? Give me a break. I have an organic garden which gets sprayed with poison every Monday by the local government. What's the point when bureaucrats say things and don't follow through? Get rid of the top trash who has been poisoning us. Help communities grow and produce their own food with the salaries of the CEO's, board members, chemists, and biochemists. Stop buying beef from Brazil and support our ranchers. The list goes on and on.

Cut out the ingredients that are not natural, list all ingredients on package labels. Stop allowing pesticides to be sprayed on food. Make our food supply great again!
I think it's dumb to create "a federal definition of ultra-processed foods". No matter the definition, it will be a contrived category, not matching much real-world meaningfulness. Different forms of processing range from helpful to very harmful. I wouldn't lump things together when the differences and nuances loom so large. We need to do a deep dive into the different types of processing and sort the good from the bad. All the rhetoric on processed foods is of little value, and this definition won't help much. It's all too vague. We need to do a better job pointing fingers and naming names. Two bad forms of processing are bleaching of flour and hydrogenation of oils. Let's go with that and add to the list. When it comes to processed foods, MAHA seems like an angry, dim-witted mob. Better to be an angry, discerning mob.
I hope these proposals bypass the increase in cost to labelling & compliance with the cost of HEALTH? I hope they at LEAST balance out or that the cost of health reverses the COST BENEFIT exponentially so! I suppose the old saying that there's no cost associated with GOOD HEALTH! Great initiatives as always!
Thank God the FDA is making manufacturers accountable. I just went through a grocery stores flyer that showed “specials” for the week. The whole five page circular did not have one natural food product. Everything offered was ultra processed. This movement is SO overdue. Keep up the good work and don’t let the manufacturers cheat through loopholes. Thank you for this program
That's why they're called "specials." The typical US grocery store carries over 30K SKUs (distinct items), while your flyer listed only several dozen. And I just responded to a single-comment account created yesterday.
This is a good start but....what concerns me is that the US often now uses "Europe" or "other countries" as its benchmark for excellence or something to aspire to, but in the UK for example food has deteriorated to such an extent that one can hardly find anything to buy in the supermarket. And as for fast food, nobody should be touching it. Even so-called healthy options such as Japanese or Asian are now so laden with sugar, seed oils and the like it's tragic. And the salmon and chicken in the sushi is sick. The US led the world into this dreadful food culture. It now needs to lead the way out. Same with vaccines: just because other countries also poison their children doesn't mean that's a good thing. And don't get me started on what has been done to Africa.

The reason organic is more expensive has many explanations including
startup costs, remediation costs, certification costs etc.
As mentioned best option includes growing as much oneself, and knowing farmers you trust. Smaller health food stores etc.
