HHS launched The Real Food Show on YouTube July 30, featuring Secretary Kennedy and celebrity chefs cooking whole food recipes for $5 or less per serving.
Absolutely fantastic, I can't wait to watch!. Secretary Kennedy is the best of the Kennedys and such an inspiration to me and my family. This kind of lifestyle change is what has turned my husband's health completely around, from a laundry list of chronic conditions to none, while getting rid of the need for one medication after another. This is the way!!
I completely upended just about everything involving food at my home, after enrolling in Dr. Daniel Pompa’s chemical and heavy metals detox program. Almost simultaneously, the MAHA movies became available and detailed how the multiple toxic exposures are repeated almost daily.
I believe this YouTube program will give me helpful recipes, tips and ideas. More importantly, I hope it introduces people to the newly inverted food pyramid and explains why it has changed so drastically.
Excellent program. MAHA needs to get Home Ec reinstated in our schools — which was the best class I took at my CA public high school. My school counselor tried to talk me out of it, saying I was too smart for it. Complete BS. Our teacher sent us to the supermarket across the street with food stamps and we were to buy food for a week of nutritious meals. This was the late 60s and revisionist history classes had just started. So I would go from Home Ec where I learned how to solve an American problem — feeding families — to my next course called “American Problems” that lectured us about how hopeless and awful America has been throughout its history without any solution given (except that we would be brainwashed into becoming Progressives for the Left). And now, I’m going to make breakfast for my husband and me: Avocado Crema (real buttermilk, not the yellow carton crap and avocado, lime) on toasted Ezekiel bread topped with cooked pearled barley (I cook it with Brodo beef broth) and an egg friend in avocado oil. Bon appétit, America! It’s delicious and healthy. And I believe Julia Child, who I once had the good luck to get to interview and spend a week with, would approve.
Secretary Kennedy continues to amaze me with his common sense solutions to the serious problems he has exposed. Since moms have been in the work force since the 60's, kids haven't had the experience of being taught how to cook or what to cook, unless they were lucky enough to have a grandmother who was close by. And with Home Economics classes cancelled, how are kids going to learn? Now kids AND their parents can get valuable information on nutrition and cooking: the two most important factors that influence how healthy we are and how well we age.
I am a huge RFK Jr fan-I remember him & his family from the 60’s . His dad was my Senator(not that I knew that-I was in single digits) & I will always remember that morning in 1968 when, before school, I saw on the b&w tv that he’d been assassinated. My life was altered 😭. I felt a connection to that family-especially the kids & have been an RFKJr #1 fan since, 2023/24 campaign voli & NY delegate. I am thrilled he’s hosting this & watched it immediately. It is excellent & at minimum, everyone who gets public assistance should be required to watch it every time they show up at social services for benefits-should even be shown in MD offices on a loop. Be relentless! For transparency-I am a 25 yr vegan-do not eat the vegan processed crap. Thanks to Dr McDougall who years ago beat the warning drum on seed oils, do not eat them either. My attitude is-at a minimum- if it doesn’t rot, it’s not food. Thank you, Sec K & MAHA: you are all the best of this magnificent country ❤️🇺🇸 🌱
Nice! Informative and quick! The people need a food .gov website to vet what is obtainable, to feel more secure and safe. It should list the companies, products, and manufacturers that have good/not-so-good products at this time, and provide updates as compliance develops. Ingredients listed for each product so we can research. Restaurants are in the public news when the Health Department fails them. So, it can't be a slander issue to do this. Labels don't tell the whole story, and have you tried to read a label in font size 6 in a store? This website should include store chains. They have degreed leaders, labs, and scientists, and buy items from good and not-so-good producers. They get lobbied, solicited, and rewarded with perks and prizes to carry the products, in addition to making a profit and bonuses. They know what to tell their families not to buy or eat, but will stock the same on their shelves. Transparency is the key to all solutions on this. We deserve freedom of healthy choices. We are weary of the tricks and dance routines of those who buy, sell, and make our food. Clever advertising is dead. We won't know our food is safe and clean until we see the last bottle of seed oil, the last jug of baby nursery water without fluoride, and the last GMO product off the shelves. Our healthy choices are still very limited. As more people wake up, more people will demand clarity. Terrific job and exciting times ahead, but there are babies and children still eating the sludge and poisons on the grocery store shelves. Thank you, MAHA!!
If the recipes are difficult, expensive, time-consuming, or involve hard-to-find ingredients (I'm a little worried about the celebrity chef aspect and "wild salmon" as an ingredient), they'll be great in Williamsburg, where they will stay. I had a sister-in-law, the mother of two kids, who didn't know how to make scrambled eggs; her husband couldn't make a sandwich (I am NOT making this up) and the kids, now grown, are NOT okay. People interested and involved in food sometimes have no idea how others approach it - people whose parents couldn't or didn't cook not only can't cook themselves but often don't know how to eat. (I have seen people in restaurants who couldn't hold a fork properly.) Regional American eating habits are charming - I was in the midwest recently and the vegetable that was offered with my meat and potatoes was corn; I told the waiter my mother wouldn't have been happy but he just asked, "Do you want the corn or not?" My corn-roast lunch today in rural Maryland consisted of fried chicken, corn, a roll, apple sauce, and a couple of slices of tomato - nice, but with all-you-can-eat corn on the cob, somewhat vegetable-challenged. I've seen both Julia Child and Jacques Pepin (I'm old) put together wonderful, simple, inexpensive meals with few ingredients. If my sister-in-law had been inclined, she might have ended up with a beautiful cheese omelet, salad, and bread instead of microwaved scrambled eggs.
Here is something that the Federal government should factually and actually promote after so many decades of bad science, manipulated food choices and a lackadaisical HHS. Thank you. Now we just need to solve the terrible problem of food deserts in urban and rural communities. All of the consolidated groceries are in the suburbs with just packaged choices elsewhere.

Amazing So exciting
Well done to RFK and the whole team
He certainly practices what me preaches 👏👏🙌🏻
When will Dr. Mehmet Oz participate in an episode?

I love this so much.
It was fun to watch Bobby in the kitchen, and the food looks great!
