Beside every strong woman is a strong man, and beside every strong man is a strong woman. You and Bobby are the best, Cheryl. So nice to see clips of you being interviewed by a fair-minded, open-hearted media person. Thank you, Armstrong Williams.

Good for her. I like her better and better. At first I wished she was more defiant. Now I think she's got a great way of dealing with the people who supposedly were her friends and turned out not to be. Many of us are having to deal with the political division of friendships right now. It's not easy. I wrote about my own feelings about it and how different it was in previous generations. https://pollysnewsletter.substack.com/p/whats-politics-got-to-do-with-friendship Great that Cheryl's out there talking about it.

It is not easy. I've moved recently, and the town is blue. I'm blue/sad because I can't say one positive thing about President Trump's administration if I want to make a new friend. People haven't woken up to the new reality of American politics. We have to find a way to talk to one another and celebrate the possibility of a good future for our country.

Two people are out of my life, because of the CV-19 vax... and my supporting President Trump. My own brother does not want to speak to me anymore, because I sent him vaccine information from anti-vax doctors; and he is a Biden-lover. He said that his doctor said that the vaccines were Safe & Effective. Another, former friend from college of 73 years ..rants on so negatively about President Trump and raves about the vaccines...that I have no desire to speak to her. She is from Fairfax, Virginia, where many pro-vax, Anti-Trump Democrats live.

@ Bárbara Charis - I totally get you . I have some close friends since 1977 ( we’ve been Libs our entire lives), but when Bobby ran for prez, they fell for the mainstream narrative being generated by the Cabal against him and despite my efforts to persuade, they just couldn’t see past it despite all my efforts to make them see some kind of light . We still speak, but it created a riff where we don’t get together like we used to and when we’re together in social settings we just don’t talk politics at all anymore. Encouragingly , I do still have some friends with whom I have transcended the partison herd mentality for a while now. At this point I think it’s baby steps , but I do think that although we’re at a critical point , the window for change may be starting to open where people see the realities of this division that is being created. It’s gonna take the right leadership and the hard core evidence to expose those who do not operate in the best interest of the common good .

The 'Common good' for all Americans! I feel the same. I am not into party, I just want what's good for America. The platform is most important1. For almost 40 years, i did not vote for a Republican or Democrat, until i was guided to vote for President Trump. I was not displeased! I voted for him three times. The Democrats are now composed of 'Flakes' who have no platform. They offer radicals who promise everything, but will give them nothing...and will turn America into a Third World Country... if it is not totally destroyed by those whose goal is world domination.

Those were my feelings also. I wanted her to be tougher. But now o see her genuine approach is just as it should be.

Every interview I have seen of Cheryl has been fantastic. She appears to be full of grace, patient, and fun. I read the book in an afternoon and wanted more. She is a good writer and a natural with comedy. Bobby is very lucky and I think Cheryl is a very strong woman to handle so much adversity with a sense of humor and grace.

I don’t even know anything about Cheryl aside from seeing her on “CurB”, for many years . But I just always got some really positive vibes from her. I can’t explain it but I m usually right about my gut feelings . They make such a cute couple as well-( totally superficial assessment ), but hey !😁if she loves Bobby - that says a ton to me .

During the pandemic she and RFKj had a dinner party and the unvaxxed were verboten as per Cheryl. I wonder if she's changed her stance?

Letsrock,

When you read the book you’ll find out it wasn’t quite like that.
