Radiation from cell towers near homes and schools is harming Americans, causing EMR Syndrome. It's time for the government to take these impacts seriously.
Unfortunately, the answer to this crisis begins with a repeal of the provisions of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 that afford liability immunity to operators. This is a heinous and unconscionable provision: plaintiffs can't sue even if they have overwhelming evidence of harm. And there is no compensation fund. Between this, the PREP Act, and Durnell, we see clearly that our Congress is the friend of corporations and the enemy of the people. It's been 30 years -- it's time to repeal the Telecommunications Act of 1996!
The Act does not afford any such immunity. Section 704 of the Act says that state and local governments can't regulate wireless facilities based on concerns about RF emissions, if the facility complies with FCC limits. It prevents local communities from denying cell tower permits solely because residents fear health effects from RF radiation, and from imposing stricter local RF standards (than the FCC).
But legally it is not immunity from lawsuits. Carriers can still face claims involving negligence, fraud, contracts, etc.
Plenty of successful personal injury claims have been brought against mobile carriers. Carriers have resolved claims involving injuries to workers and bystanders during tower construction and maintenance, vehicle accidents involving carrier property and employees, premises liability at carrier-owned properties, and negligence.
RF exposure related injury claims are not legally barred, but they've generally been unsuccessful due to combinations of evidentiary requirements, the difficulty of proving causation, and federal preemption issues. I'm not an attorney. Ask your husband.
It's not that simple, because while people can say no to vaccines and use of personal devices, they have no control over cell towers being erected/activated near them.
I set my phone back to 4G/LTE. That should be the default setting for all mobile devices, with a warning that 5G/6G will cook your brain. 5G/6G should be outlawed. Its bad for every living thing.
I opted out! I never wanted a cell phone...I have driven all over the United States without one...and my children insisted that i have one. They gave me one, which I never used for several years, before I got rid of it. I was aware cell phone use could cause brain tumor growth years ago...and had no desire to use one. Years ago, I remember reading about a college dorm in the San Diego, CA area where a number of the students developed cancer...and some parents connected it to the cell phone tower,, which was right outside the dormitory. Our government needs to be held responsible for the damage it's doing to the people in America by passing laws protecting industries, instead of the people.
That was the best possible decision. Have one due to the camera, which is excellent, and the convenience or info. No longer have service, refused to "upgrade" to 5G

You are 100% right that things are getting increasingly worse with each new "G" (generation) - with more complex signals, added on top of the current "electrosmog" we are already living in.

Not much has changed in 10 years, and we badly need the MAHA movement to support independent science and getting the corruption out of the FCC, which is completely captured by the industry it was supposed to regulate.

The HHS agency should be the governmental entity to call for the repeal of provisions of the Tele Act of 1996 on the grounds that it allows for-profit communication companies to causes long and short term harm to children & the general public's health when placed on public property such as schools, library's, hospitals etc. and if its on private property that the public uses, it should be required to place warnings that the public is being exposed to EMR/RF and put where public can easily view the warning. As has been shown, nothing changes if its just a few non-profits or individuals calling for change so it has to be the agency that is responsible for the health of it's US citizens calling for this reform.
Suffering now. We cannot keep waiting for meetings, approvals and systems which knowingly harm in real time…on any more boondoggle panels…to put our health first by turning it off. Locally a property owner sold rental rights to a tower company.
At the time there was no discussion about 5G.
Tower was constructed. Many local protests even on 2 acre min. properties.
Tower has been there for years now. The property owner that rented to them,
tried to sell out, but was having no interested buyers...

For most the exposer has to do with welding a phone to their bodies and

Its an issue of relative safety. Holding any cell up to ones ear magnifies the exposure
as does using the device in a faraday cage commonly known as an car...
