So what about Sand and his position on MAHA themes, principles, and values? This wholesale support of Republicans may backfire in the midterms despite Trump and SCOTUS intimidation campaign...Again, is MAHA a Republican operation? If so, be clear with us why.

Look him up - another maga millionaire headed towards billionaire. Nothing in his history shows any concern with maha issues. I my some very recent pandering to get elected.

"Is MAHA a Republican operation?"

Seriously? Duh!

I appreciate the admonition. There is some precariousness in the MAHA political position to be sure. But it seems like there's negligible MAHA-friendliness among the Democrats. If it were up to me, MAHA wouldn't spend a dime on any candidates. Endorsements are fine, but we need to be building alternative institutions, supporting people like Steve Kirsch, e.g. who are exposing medical science as a lot of crap. Build strength and act like a social movement and the politics will follow.

That question is late and very simple. RFK is MAHA. He wisely joined team Trump.

That was over a year and a half ago. Where have you been??

If you do not know why, this is not the place to learn. Wake up people.

Bobby withdrew himself Democratic candidacy by early October 2023.

The "profit busting positions" are addressed only by performative lip service. No one that isn't truly wealthy gets a high level trump appointment, and they're all tied up with Big Everything.

You all are cheering about some Koch scion winning Iowa Republican primary for governor. Can't get more Big Chemical than Koch.

Identified by whom? By himself, about a month or two ago. Trump is the boastfully ANTI-WAR president. He's the Christian president that couldn't name a single Bible verse. He's the swamp drainer running the most corrupt adminustration the US had ever had

maga could sell you believers sand in the desert

Search his name in quotations, limiting the date to exclude 2026 - or even just excluding the last few months.

You won't find him mentioning or mentioned in anything related to MAHA. His schtick was his charter school.

I lived in Des Moines for 1.5 years, and I was getting sicker as time went by, but thought it was related to other health issues.

I fled Iowa in early April, and am in California now. The weather improved my arthritis significantly, but I also noticed recently that several neurological symptoms have vanished. I'm not dizzy and wobbling on my feet. So, was pollution in the water or from the airport killing me, or could it have been something in the house (radon?) CO from the furnace?

I ‘like RFK Jr’ became an Independent, after it became glaringly obvious the Democrats prefer their addiction to corruption, over what makes us human. However, I’m not naive because I am keenly aware GOP is equally nefarious. Trump kicked us all in the groin, with his executive order on glyphosate, and when he put the clamps on Kennedy’s work on vaccination and Lee Zeldin at EPA was a terrible appointee. I am a MAHA member whose only allegiance is to the candidate ‘not party’ - whom parrots the demands contained within the movement. As for Kirk’s endorsement, she can go to hell.

Fred Kittelmann's avatar

In what way did Trump "put the clamps on Kennedy’s work on vaccination"?

Daniel Murphy's avatar

A political strategist for Trump, said a poll revealed the vaccine issue to be causing unrest within the MAGA base and the president was advised to reign in Secretary Kennedy, until completion of the midterm elections. The poll had been designed to bring that result.

Good news for MAHA, but the fact Lahn was also endorsed by TPUSA makes me skeptical of the rest of his platform (i.e. pro-Israel?).

Leigh's avatar

Congratulations Zach, you deserve this win and your platform deserved the support of MAHA PAC. What a great day for Iowans and farmer’s everywhere.

MAHArd's avatar

Which parts of it appealed to you?

AMAZING WIN FOR MAHA !!!!

MAHArd's avatar

How so? You know nothing about this guy.

Michael Kane's avatar

Have you heard him speak? He's 1000% MAHA.

MAHArd's avatar

For a month or two, perhaps. Have you heard him speak? Or only the brief clips you've been fed?

Have you read anything from any of his previous political campaigns? Have you read anything written about him before 2026?

He's a major player at Koch, Inc. The second largest privately held US company. Refining and distribution of petroleum and chemical intermediates and polymers - of fertilizers and textiles, of pulp and paper - of chemical manufacturing equipment, etc

How maha is that? How gullible are you?

"Continued Lyons, “Zach Lahn made transitioning from toxic chemicals the cornerstone of his campaign, and won this election decisively with strong farmer support. Family farms are closing at a record pace based on our current agriculture system - and Iowa farmers face some of the highest cancer rates of any area in the world. For the health of our children and the continued financial viability of farmers, we must move to a more regenerative agriculture system.”

MAHA PAC’s final-stretch deployment to support Lahn included four rounds of MMS text messages reaching approximately 350,000 Iowan GOP likely voters, Election Day ringless voicemails to more than 83,000 cell phones, 40,500 live get-out-the-vote phone calls, three rounds of robocalls to more than 36,000 landlines, and statewide video advertising — drawing a sharp contrast between Lahn’s MAHA agenda and Feenstra’s record of taking contributions from Pfizer, the drug companies, the insurance lobby, and out-of-state political action committees."

MMS'ing 350K cell phones! Tech savvy, apparently effective.

A victory in the land of election theft, is always acceptable and to be celebrated.

In stark contrast to California that takes 3 weeks to figure out a way to steal

the Governorship.

Figuring out how to monocrop corn and beans using regen. ag? Not likely.

I am from Iowa and host the Facebook page MAHA united. We're very excited about the Zach Lahn win for many reasons, especially as we rank #2 in the country for the incidence of Cancer. President Trump, love him, endorsed the purple, establishment RINO. Yeah Iowa for being first in the nation again

Not unhinged enough. There's nothing suggesting “maha” had any bearing at all. No exit polls (yet). But tell yourself what you need to.
