About time!! Thank you

Added Kennedy, “Science is always evolving, and our policies should too. A growing body of evidence indicates that ingesting fluoride can cause neurological harm, and other adverse effects. By contrast, fluoride’s benefits to teeth come almost entirely from topical contact, not from ingestion. Most of Europe has already moved away from water fluoridation in favor of topical products such as toothpaste, and it may well be time for the U.S. to follow suit.”

If this addition was published 35 years ago the statement was tardy. Science on Fl was unequivocal that long ago.

The truth about fluoride causing neurological harm but also malignancy was well known and documented. Osteosarcoma in the long bones of adolescent males. What he is saying is most definitely inaccurate regarding Fl "science" evolving.

The comment on topical application is reducing decay is accurate, however it is also true that Fl makes tooth enamel and long bones MORE BRITTLE thus likely to fracture.

The American Dental Association is akin to the AMA. Both self serving rackets that have done much more harm than good. Beware of the ABC agencies.

Thanks for this news bit. This is another concrete step that should have been taken in 1965, when I was a kid, and already aware of it.

I just asked Goggle's AI the question I suggested above. One can only imagine what AltAI would say. Here's the full answer:

how much money do the fluoride producers give to the American Dental Association

+6

Based on information from 2006–2009, the American Dental Association (ADA) and the ADA Foundation received over $28 million from pharmaceutical companies, dental equipment manufacturers, and insurance companies.

While these funds were not explicitly labeled as coming only from "fluoride producers," they came from a pool of corporate partners that include major manufacturers of fluoridated toothpaste, such as Colgate, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Pfizer.

Key details regarding the financial relationship include:

Corporate Funding: A 2010 letter from the ADA's Chief Financial Officer to U.S. Senator Charles Grassley revealed the $28 million figure.

Seal of Acceptance Program: The ADA charges companies to evaluate their products for the ADA Seal of Acceptance. A 2016 report indicated a $14,500 submission fee per product and a $3,500 yearly maintenance fee.

Industry Ties: Critics argue that these partnerships and funding sources create a conflict of interest, as many of these corporations profit from the sale of fluoride products.

Industry Supporters: Companies that produce fluoride for water fluoridation (often byproducts of the fertilizer industry, such as Mosaic Co. and CF Industries) and those selling consumer dental products are often supporters of organized dentistry initiatives.

The ADA maintains that it is a not-for-profit organization that advocates for public health based on scientific evidence, and notes that it has supported community water fluoridation since 1950.

WHEN WILL YOU REVIEW OZONE WATER??

Ozone water is an approved, powerful, organic disinfectant for food safety, yet medical experts ignore it as a powerful, organic disinfectant for any medical purpose. Healthcare’s enemy is viruses and bacteria. Yet, strangely, the one thing that safely eliminates every virus and bacteria instantly by oxidation is not allowed to disinfect anything in a medical environment.

Please explain how this is possible.

truth seeker's avatar

O3 water needs no review. Virus does not exist. Take the short course.

There are many oxidizing agents, they require judicious use and knowledge

Not yet, and there's still a lot of blowback against communities that want it out. Someone should look into how much the fluoride producers pay the American Dental Association.

Yes, follow the money trail.

I don't understand why we have to wait for this to be looked at and studied. They know fluoride is poisonous. They know the damage it causes. Why not err on the side of caution and take it out now, and then do all the studies?

Dianne's avatar

Yes, take it out of all of our drinking water (always was a poisonous, profit making post industrial waste product)!
