The Spellers movie showed that using gross motor function to help nonverbal autistic. People spell is a miracle and the New York Times should be ashamed of themselves.

The NYTimes is sooo out of step with the real American! They should throw in their journalism towel and get out while they still have a name..

I still remember a time when the expression "The New York Times" carried journalistic prestige among fair minded people...

maybe accepting Autism is genetic will help so that other progress could be made. the research by RFK is the blind leading the blinder

the spelling method can work, as the helper will probably know the words and phrases that are likely to be used, also they will sometimes have the hand pointing or the eye looking at the letters. maybe keypads with bigger buttons and more space might make it easier to show

The "gray lady" has become carbonized...and is burned to its core. It is strange that this "newspaper of record" has chosen again to IGNORE what thousands of WOMEN and MOTHERS have been saying for a long time.

One may ask: “Shouldn’t all of this have been done before?”"

No kidding! The elephant in the room the MAHA consistently overlooks is the entire

fabrication of safe and effective, passing the buck to "research"

None are Safe, None are Effective People were deceived, and yes its deliberate.
