Let’s walk away from YouTube, support the alternatives, and vote for people who enforce anti-trust laws. The tech monopolies are making censorship easier than it would otherwise be.
Music content, repairing my clothes dryer by myself and improving my pickleball game are the only things YT is good for. For anything educational or remotely controversial I use other platforms.
You two look pretty good in spite of being "poofed." One would think poofing would only occur after receiving a description of the poof-worthy offense. Where the poof is due process!
For four years now, I've only used YouTube when I've had no other choice (instructions on how to use some product). I've converted to Rumble (and even bought stock in them).
Besides YouTube, Google also censors heavily. Most people may not even notice, but the search results don’t contain certain individuals, topics, websites, etc. or are in an order that tries to manipulate you.
I noticed, when I was searching for Geert Vanden Bossche’s website. For a while it was completely gone, but I guess they realized that this is too obvious what they are doing. So now, you have to dig through a lot of negative stuff about Geert, before you can find his website.
Use other search engines, obviously not any from US companies. And Geert’s website will be the first search result.
Goliath grips us with fear when we have bad thoughts. That’s the goal. Just another milestone along that path, this ‘community standards’ grift. We are being shown the gateway to the gulag.
We are the land of socialism, censorship and litigation. Freedom? That seems to have been lost about 25 years ago. Although it sounds like we still have more freedom than most other nations.
And here I am literally asking myself why I continue to visit ANY platforms that loathe me and my type. Perhaps it began when I considered getting off all of them for Lent.
Now as we come to the Easter season I will continue to evaluate all of them.
Americans have become fat and lazy. Yes there are some of us that desire freedom of speech but a great many don’t care as long as they have access to the worthless garbage on these platforms while they eat another Big Mac. This is what they call freedom.
Are there enough of actual freedom loving citizens to turn the tide. We shall soon see.
Take a look at Dr. Berg's video on YT. They effectively tried to silence him because he doesn't follow WHO guidelines and, in particular, suggests a keto diet for health. I agree but they are so ingrained it would be hard to leave them totally.. I’m still flabergasted that people are ok with the government being involved in censorship at all? Immediately after the federal government was proven to have engaged in suppressing freedom of speech as the case clearly proved...someone should have been charged and eventually jailed for their part in that illegal government activity! That’s what’s been missing for a long time now...they are quick to prosecute us “normal” citizens for breaking one of their rules...when they do it, as part of the government, they should be prosecuted twice as hard and jailed twice as long....otherwise the abuses of power get worse and worse till a revolution is your only answer...we shouldn’t allow it to get to that level! Drain the Swamp Now!
a working class mom in NY is being prosecuted with a federal crime for using a fake vax card in order to keep her job but violate the First Amendment at the top levels... nobody bats an eye, yawn. its clown world on steroids.
