The USDA needs to change course: stop subsidizing soy and corn grown for cattle feed and ethanol. Focus instead on subsidizing small organic vegetable farms for human consumption throughout the US, not just in CA where water is scarce. Small decentralized farms with a variety of different kinds of vegetables (like they have in Europe) are less prone to widespread damage by pests. Maybe even take the USDA out of the equation altogether, since where there are subsidies there is corruption.
Water is scarce in CA because Newsom (and other previous governors) have cut off water supply to farmers. Can't farm is there's no water. Newsom kept water from going to farmers and that water now goes into the ocean. Also, one couple owns almost ALL water in California:
I lived most of my life in CA, we never had water shortages until a decade or 2 ago.
When the fires roared through L.A., it also came out that the reservoir in Pacific Palisades, which was pretty much destroyed by the fires, had never been filled in past year so it was bone dry; thus no water to put out fires. Also, a few months before fires, insurance companies cancelled policies in Pacific Palisades - so now these folks don't have the money to rebuild on their land. So Gov. Gruesome wants to simply take the land and build housing for low-income people. Not saying this was planned but....
That's outrageous that the water supply is privately owned! No natural resource should be hoarded.
Even if the water scarcity in CA is manufactured, it's relatively less plentiful there than it is where I am in NY; we usually have more than enough water for crops without pulling it up from the ground. Weather is more unpredictable though, and industrial farming prefers predictable.
the flu vaccine is pushed hard on seniors. Up until recently some of the flu vaccines still had mercury in it. And as we know there's aluminum. These toxic metals cause not only autism, but Parkinson's, bipolar, ADHD, dementia, etc. Need to detox these metals out of the brain in order to heal.
Dental work containing metals also cause issues, aluminum foil, aluminum pans etc
The book goes on about va((Ines .. "We have successfully used vaccines to control smallpox, measles, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, and, most recently, Covid-19. We have all received many of these vaccines ourselves. Why not reconsider the possibility of a vaccine for Parkinson’s? Admittedly, Parkinson’s is not thought to be infectious; however, vaccines may have utility beyond diseases caused by bacteria and viruses. The Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated that we can rapidly develop vaccines if the need arises. Can we apply that knowledge? Can we deploy an Operation Warp Speed for Parkinson’s disease?" etc etc
Yes. While it's quite clear that environmental toxins are contributors to diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, I find it ridiculous that this article ignores the elephant in the room: vaccines. Aluminium is a central culprit, as Christopher Exley's excellent work clearly demonstrates. And most of the elderly obediently take the ineffective and aluminium-laden flu vaccines annually, just as you say. If, as the next commenter says, the book supports "a vaccine for Parkinson's," that tells you all you need to know. I won't be rushing to purchase my copy anytime soon. This kind of obfuscation from MAHA is disingenuous and disturbing.
It's not just household cleaning products. It's everything containing synthetic fragrances, including laundry detergents, personal products - shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, body spray, deodorant, etc. - plug-ins, scented candles, Febreeze, you name it. Many people are desensitized, others attribute their allergies to pollen when in fact it's the ubiquitous fragrances. The fact is, if you can walk down the detergent aisle in the grocery store without reacting, you've lost your sense of smell.
Environmental and food-borne toxins probably do increase the risk of neurodegenerative diseases. However, low circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D (as measured in "vitamin D" blood tests) is a much more important and easily corrected risk factor. Reducing the risk of neurodegeneration is one of dozens of reasons for supplementing vitamin D3 sufficiently to attain at least the 50 ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D the immune system needs to function properly.
A good friend of mine died recently, in his mid-60s, from multiple system atrophy. I had not heard of this when I first learned of his severely disabling illness three years ago.
Multiple system atrophy is essentially the same as Parkinson's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. All three involve misfolding (prion disease) of the same α-synuclein protein, which exists naturally in the brain. Ayers et al. 2022 https://www.pnas.org/doi/abs/10.1073/pnas.2113489119 established that the difference between these three diseases (which are really three somewhat different sets of symptoms) is that the self-catalysing (prion) misfolding pattern is different for each of these three, though the researchers could not discover exactly what the misfolding patterns were.
When I first searched Google Scholar for "multiple system atrophy" and "vitamin D" it took me two or so minutes to find Ogura et al. 2021 https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2405650221000617 who report that healthy controls averaged 26.8 ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D (half of what the immune system needs to function properly) while Parkinson's disease patients averaged 13.4 ng/mL and multiple system atrophy patients 10.5 ng/mL. (Both p = 0.0001.)
Evatt et al. 2011: https://sci-hub.se/10.1001/archneurol.2011.30 found that the low 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in PD etc. patients is not, or is perhaps only very slightly, due to reverse causation (the disease lowering the level).
Alzheimer's disease and numerous other kinds of neurodegeneration follow the same pattern, as you can read from the research cited and discussed at: https://vitamindstopscovid.info/00-evi/#3.3.
To see how much vitamin D3 to supplement, on average, per day, to ensure at least 50 ng/mL (125 nmol/L = 1 part in 20,000,000 by mass) circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D all year round, according to body weight and obesity status, please see the recommendations of New Jersey Professor of Medicine Sunil Wimalawansa at: https://vitamindstopscovid.info/00-evi/#00-how-much.
I recently heard from a friend that her husband had been diagnosed with Parkinson's and started having cardiac arrhythmia right after having an appendectomy several months ago. Aware of the role that toxin intake can play in the creation of so many diseases, I inquired as to whether he might have had an MRI with contrast prior to that surgery. In fact, he had. Gadolinium is the name of the contrast medium usually used and there have been reports of gadolinium toxicity resulting in similar symptoms/problems. If he already had a typical American overload of toxins in his body (and a nutrient deficient diet?), this may just have been the tipping point for him.
My aunt died with long standing Parkinson's. I have an elderly friend and a young friend currently afflicted with the disorder. I have wondered for 20 years where it's cause lay. Thank you for looking for answers and going after what can be changed to stop this sad crippling disease. You have given me a ray of hope.
Root causes finally are coming to the forefront! Thank you for this review. Do they mention ways to detoxify the ubiquitous chemicals with red light, saunas, other?

Sure wish everyone in this administration was on the MAHA train!

Add to that the fact that it never rains in Calif in summer, especially in the Central Valley areas where there are numerous farms.
Evil. Pure evil

DMSO to some extent treats parkinson's (especially if IV).
There are also a significant number of cases where it's caused by dental metals.

The inconvenient truth about environmental toxins up against the rewards of under-scrutinized turf expansion.
