If they were, they would have wiped Gaza off the face of the map decades ago. If they were committing genocide, the Palestinian population would have been decreasing over the last several decades, not exploding like bunny rabbits.
THIRD: Deaths in war is NOT “genocide” NOR are they “crimes against humanity”. Defending one’s country is not ethnic cleansing. Let’s learn some history, shall we? Under international law, any civilian damage is completely permissible PROVIDED THAT it is in the course of pursuing a legitimate military objective, and eliminating armed fighters on the other side (e.g., Hamas) is precisely such a legitimate military objective, spot on. Therefore, any civilians that die in the course of using whatever ordinance is required to kill all enemy combatants legally falls within international law. In other words, international law recognizes the right for a sovereign country to defend itself, and to kill enemy combatants wherever they may hide and regardless of collateral damage, provided that the bombs used to kill the enemy combatants were not significantly more than needed to do so. It seems to me based on what’s currently going on, that many people think that the only country that does not have a right to defend itself is Israel. THE ONLY REASON ISRAEL WAS/IS IN GAZA IS BECAUSE PALESTINIANS INVADED ISRAEL, BRUTALLY MURDERED, BURNED, RAPED, PILLAGED, BEAT AND KIDNAPPED ISRAELIS. SO, you are looking at what the defenders are doing and COMPLETELY IGNORING WHAT THE TERRORISTS DID. There is no two ways on this: Hamas are Palestinians. So, one retrieving one’s citizens who have been taken hostage is not genocide (aka ethnic cleansing). Yes, it is unfortunate whenever civilians get killed in war, but it’s not genocide; it’s war.
FOURTH: To the extent Palestinians were dying, it is because Hamas was using them as human shields and preventing them from leaving. We do not know the accurate number b/c Hamas are notorious liars. We also do not know: a) how many Hamas killed as civilians as they were trying to evacuate, b) how many civilians Hamas prevented from evacuating, c) how many civilians decided not to evacuate because they are supporting Hamas, d) how many of the number of dead are children who are being used, e) how many were killed by the 1,000+ Hamas rockets that fell inside Gaza, f) the number of people claimed to be civilians who work with Hamas, including civilians who participated on Oct. 7 and civilians who hold hostages, g) the number of 16-17-year-old fighters (and younger – I saw a video of a 7 y.o. little girl shooting an AR-15 at IDF; what horrible parents to let their daughter do that – she may have trauma for the rest of her life) – these “children” are counted as civilians), h) the number of 12-15-year old scouts and runners (also counted as civilians) and i) Hamas adult fighters falsely claimed by the Hamas health authorities to be civilians.
FIFTH: PALESTINIANS WERE THE ONES COMMITTING GENOCIDE. It is the Palestinian Hamas who has genocide/ethnic cleansing in their founding charter, which is the equivalent of their constitution. They want to kill every Jew in the world and the next are the Christians (first they come for the Saturday people and then the Sunday people). The Palestinians have wanted to commit actual genocide against the Jews ever since Haj Amin al Husseini begged Hitler to bring gas chambers to all the Middle East for all Mideastern Jews. Abbas wrote his PhD dissertation both minimizing the Holocaust and blaming the Jews for their own murder. Most of all, the centerpiece of Palestinian identity is committing ethnic cleansing against the Jews, and NOT to build an independent Palestine state. Their dialogue uses Nazi language about Jews making the Temple Mount “dirty.” Their focus on destruction and not building a state can be seen when Ariel Sharon gave them all of Gaza in 2005. The Palestinians (Gaza was not yet controlled by Hamas) destroyed the greenhouses the Jews gave them to build an export economy and food independence because “they were Jewish greenhouses!!!” Nazi language and thoughts. Destruction, not building a state. This is front-and-center in the Palestinian identity and is the reason they have rejected Jewish peace offers for 100 years.

No one should support Trump, ever! It is better to support the Democratic Party even if they have an almost unforgivable blind spot about vaccines and related matters. Overall , having Democrats in power is better in every policy area than slimy Republicans. Yes it would mean no more of MOST MAHA , but a lot of Democrats have always supported bans on pesticides, better food etc.. In fact they have always been at the forefront about the environment and healthy food etc... while Republicans never and still do not give a shit about the environment.

Those of us whose conscientiousness maintain close vigil over this critical paradigm shift, are swift to identify the interloper. From the courage of Secretary Kennedy we have the receipts proving the depth and breadth of corruption at the federal agencies. Now it is the responsibility of CITIZENS to call these people out, making our resolve known and tell them we will not tolerate legislation which puts the mercantile interests of industry over the health and well being of the children. What I see is Kennedy "biting the bullet" by playing the role of "supporting" Trump so that he may carry out his long prayed-for MAHA dream. I get the impression he never would've backed Trump were it not for being promised the role of HHS Secretary.
