This doesn't actually do anything. The only existing EUAs are for some off-brand home COVID tests. And this gives them a year more to get their tests approved.

This affects nothing, except perhaps a few OTC home antibody tests sold at dollar stores - and maybe Paxlovid for young children (starting next year).
