President Trump, Vice President Vance, cabinet members, and a majority of Republican senators and congressional representatives attended the memorial. Multiple activists and prominent media figures also attended, including Elon Musk, who was seen reconciling with President Trump alongside UFC CEO Dana White.
Multiple speakers eulogized Kirk, including Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Uniquely among the speakers, Kennedy lost his uncle and father in tragic and resonate political assassinations in 1963 and 1968, respectively.
In an eloquent, five-minute speech, Kennedy reflected on his friendship with Kirk and more:
“Charlie Kirk and I were talking about the risks that all of us take when we challenge entrenched interests. He asked me if I was scared of dying.I said to him, there's a lot worse things than death. And one of those things is if we lost our constitutional rights in this country and that our children were raised as slaves.I said, sometimes the best consolation we can hope for is that we get to die with our boots on. Charlie died with his boots on and he died to make sure that we didn't have to undergo those fates that are worse than death. For those of us who were friends with Charlie, we don't need any more evidence of the love of God because the evidence of friendship is the best evidence that God loves us all.”
Like many fellow speakers, Kennedy acknowledged the profound impact of Christianity on Kirk’s life and mission. Referring to their shared faith in Christ, Kennedy said, “We should strive to live our lives in perfect imitation of Christ… We should turn every day, every moment, and every interaction into a prayer.” He added, “A couple of days ago, my granddaughter left for college in Europe. Her mother noticed that she packed a Bible. When her mother asked her why she made that choice, she said, 'I want to live more like Charlie.’”

Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, also spoke of Kirk’s devotion to the letter and spirit of the First Amendment. She reminded her audience that “freedom is at the core of our country,” and praised Kirk’s courage in facing down opponents who resorted to violence in the face of debate.

Striking a similar note, Tucker Carlson compared modern political violence to the enemies of Jesus Christ, who wrongly believed that killing someone could quash a message of peace. His remarks were met with loud applause.
The penultimate speaker, Kirk’s widow Erika, offered a stirring tribute to her husband’s life and the family they built together. Erika proclaimed through tears that she forgives the man who took the life of her husband.

The final speaker was President Trump. The president described Kirk as an optimistic, driven, courageous, and kind man. “Charlie’s death has touched millions around the world,” President said.
In a nod to Charlie Kirk’s vocal support for Secretary Kennedy’s MAHA movement, President Trump said, “I think we found an answer to autism. How about that? Autism. Tomorrow, we're going to be talking in the Oval Office in the White House about autism, how it happens so we won't let it happen anymore, and how to get at least somewhat better when you have it so that parents can help their child, their beautiful child. That's a big one.”
Continued the president, “You know, 20 years ago, one in 10,000 were born with autism. 20 years ago. The most recent survey says one in 12. How bad is that? That's for young boys, baby boys, but also girls a little bit better, it's about one in 20.” The president added, “Obviously there was something really wrong and we think we know what that is. It's going to be, I think it's going to be one of the most important news conferences I'll ever have, and I look forward to it. And you know who else looked forward to it? Because he knew. I told him a little bit about what was going on, was Charlie. He would have been front row center, believe me.”
The president further confirmed that it was Kirk who brought his 2024 campaign together with Kennedy’s, to create a powerful political alliance.

Closing the event, the president invited Erika Kirk back to the stage where they shared a mournful embrace. President Trump exclaimed, “God be with you” as a choir sang “America The Beautiful.”
To be honest I never knew much about Mr Kirk. However, what I did know is that the far left and legacy media, had lost all perspective with reality. His hate driven death caused me to dive into his words, to obtain a clearer understanding of the man. Thus far, from the standpoint of an open minded person, I cannot fathom what was so ‘vile or racist’ about him? He brought people of diverse backgrounds and opinions into thoughtful dialogue. In truth, the media is responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk and we all know who they work for.
It was a beautiful memorial!
