The Supreme Court will not allow drug commercials to be removed from TV. It was already decided in a previous case. It's a first amendment issue. However, they can make the drug companies put the risks up front, have equal air time for the risks and overall make the commercials so unattractive that it would dissuade drug co's from spending the money on them to begin with.
The cigarette broadcast ban arose under a very different legal framework. Congress enacted it in 1970, and it was upheld in 1971 and summarily affirmed by the Supreme Court in 1972. That was before the Supreme Court recognized meaningful First Amendment protection for commercial advertising and before it created the modern commercial-speech test in *Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. v. Public Service Commission of New York* in 1980 (this is the case I'm implicitly referring to above).
The nature of the products is also fundamentally different. Cigarettes have no recognized therapeutic benefit and are harmful when used exactly as intended. By the time Congress acted, it had substantial evidence of their serious health dangers and of television and radio advertising’s particular influence on children. Prescription drugs, by contrast, are FDA-approved to treat medical conditions, are prescribed by licensed professionals and are widely regarded (by others ;-) ... clearly not by most, if not all, of MAHA's readers) as providing legitimate health benefits, even though many can also carry serious risks and may alleviate symptoms rather than cure the underlying condition. A court would therefore be much less likely to treat all prescription drugs as one uniformly harmful product category.
The cigarette ban was also limited to television and radio, which were historically subject to greater government regulation. Even so, the ban was never evaluated under the modern *Central Hudson* test. Under that test, a court considering a pharmaceutical television ban today would likely ask why the government could not protect consumers through less speech-restrictive measures, such as requiring risks to be presented first, giving each serious risk airtime and prominence equal to the longest benefit claim and requiring clear disclosure when a drug alleviates symptoms but does not cure the condition.
So, for the sake of brevity, I overstated my original comment by saying that the Supreme Court would not allow pharmaceutical commercials to be removed from television. The Court has not ruled on that precise question. The more accurate point is that the existing *Central Hudson* doctrine strongly suggests that a blanket pharmaceutical television ban would face a serious First Amendment challenge that the much older cigarette ban never faced under the modern commercial-speech test (and again, cigarettes were considered unhealthy with zero "real" benefits by everyone.)
This is a move in the right direction, though it is a shame that Nicole Shanahan, Mr. Kennedy's running mate on his Independent ticket, has faded to the background. She is actively exposing the horrors of geoengineering which should be CENTRAL to Kennedy's MAHA movement. Weather warfare, climate combat, weather modification, cloud seeding, Owning The Weather 2025, the list goes on, as our government implements programs weaponizing weather as a "force multiplier" using toxic chemicals sprayed in our sky routinely, even by commercial airlines.
QUOTE: Nicole Shanahan published a paper, Geoengineering: Who’s Behind It and How We Stop It, with the help of a whistleblower. The paper exposes the federal funding of a consortium of 130 colleges and universities under the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) that manages the National Center for Atmospheric Research on behalf of the National Science Foundation. UCAR has received $230 million in direct federal funding.
No mention is made of STARDUST, the geoengineering company based in Israel, or countless private corporations profiteering from spraying toxic chemicals into our atmosphere, as futures in weather engineering are sold on Wall Street. Stardust has raised more than $75 million from more than a dozen investment firms.
QUOTE: Stardust’s foray into lobbying comes amid a historic surge in K Street spending that shows no signs of abating as companies seek to win favor from — and avoid the scorn of — a Trump administration that has disregarded norms limiting the amount of government involvement in industries and companies.
Kennedy and Co. are doing some good work but until they aggressively expose and address the horrors of geoengineering, which is, without question the most DIRE and CRITICAL issue of our time as it deliberately poisons our water, soil, and food supply, all of this is but, to quote C.S. Lewis, "blowing gas."
Thank You! I love RFK and he is making slow progress, but you are correct: geo engineering and glyphosate saturated GMO food is the poison elephant in the room. Nothing changes in the health of our nation until that insanity is dismantled. Trump is throttling any real change I’m afraid. That has been a devastating betrayal to watch since MAHA got him elected. I am hoping after the midterms that RFK will be let off of his leash and that he can get the astonishing decisions being made at the FDA changed. I know RFK has no control over the incessant spraying in our skies, but someone does and it must end. Let us not get comfortable with bread and circus parties while Rome burns.
Doreen, you're spot on. What is being done in our heavens is absolutely unconscionable and what is really mystifying is how the presstitutes are so fast to slap the "baseless conspiracy theory" label on anything and everything that exposes this unbelievable horror even though the Internet abounds with primary sources proving them liars.
Yes, it would be great if RFK could be free to act upon all that he surely knows needs to be done to clean this God-forsaken mess up. And right you are that he, Tulsi Gabbard, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and a few others helped him get back into office. Trump throttles anything that might interfere with the profiteering of the MIC (Military Industrial Congressional complex) making billions from contracts weaponizing our weather.
We ignite a war against a sovereign country for their oil reserves while every day some 45,000 planes fly over the USA. Strange, how during the pandemic lock-downs people worked remotely from home. So where does everyone need to be going that we need 45,000 planes spewing jet fuel into the sky every day? If our legislators were truly concerned about the climate crisis there would be an immediate, strict moratorium on flights. It's that simple. Commercial flights are being used for geoengineering, which includes, as we know, Solar Radiation Management and Stratospheric Aerosol Injection. Why is it that the same people trying to block the sun's rays from reaching the earth are the same ones offering tax incentives to install solar panels?
You're right about glyphosate saturated GMO food. So much of our food supply is contaminated with bioengineered ingredients that people are not aware of as the fine print is almost impossible to see unless one knows what to look for. Then, there is the issue of lab grown meat that our politicians profiteer by. "Food science" is synonymous with "climate health."
There's also the issues of the widespread fires, another elephant in the room, some of them being set by directed energy weapons as well as chemicals. They are very similar to the fires in Santa Rosa, Lahaina, Maui, Canada, Texas and Los Angeles. As the firemen spray them they get worse. Then there is the issue of "smart meters" that are being aggressively deployed nationwide that are also fire hazards.
I have lived in a flight path from Logan airport for 35 years. I watch the skies and the incessant trails that were not there 10-15 years ago. I am more and convinced that many commercial jet engines have been modified to receive this reconstituted fuel. It makes the program cheap and global. Even if the university programs are stopped, the commercial fleets can still spew this toxic brew across the planet.
I hope you find some joy in life. It often feels like we have been transplanted to a parallel universe where nothing makes sense and evil rules. But, there remains so much beauty all around us too and that is certainly something worth fighting for. Keep it up💕
You could be speaking for me. Within a mile from my home is an FAA Radar Surveillance Dome, so the flight paths are directed through here, too. There are days that it becomes so unbearable I no longer enjoy working in my garden as I used to.
The increase in flight traffic became much worse during Biden's administration. Last summer, one night I counted 47 jets fly over in 13 minutes. There's quite a bit on the web, even on dot gov sources, about the health hazards of jet noise.
Like you, lately I feel like I live in a parallel universe. I track the flights going over my head, especially the ones spewing their toxic chemicals, at https://globe.adsbexchange.com/. So many of them are commercial airlines. This information, too, can be found on the web.
Hopefully, in the near future, there will be strict regulations on all geoengineering, climate combat and warfare, cloud seeding, and all artificial manipulation of God's creation. There will need to be severe penalties imposed upon all of the perpetrators, private and corporate alike.
Over the past several years I have noticed a marked decrease in songbird and wildlife. Farmers are telling me that they are having difficulty growing crops because of all the cloud seeding and rain. The chemicals, especially the sodium chloride, used for cloud seeding is rotting wood, trees are breaking in half, concrete is eroding, cedar guard rails in place for decades are now suddenly rotting away, paint is peeling from metal roofing, but our insurance companies will only act upon a "named storm." Yet our governors appropriate millions in emergency funding when cloud seeding produces unprecedented flash floods, not to mention the "emergency preparedness" our municipal "stakeholders" now promote.
This is causing property damage, not to mention what it is doing to our quality of life. In addition to the pollution of our air quality, there is very little peace. Noise pollution is another very serious consideration for RFK to address. He surely has his work cut out for him. Godspeed.
For decades, in their endless quest for ever-greater profits and ever more control, Big Pharma and Big Ag have been riding roughshod over the health of the American people, paying off the right people along the way to ensure that no serious efforts are made to interfere with their agenda. For decades, studies have been conducted that show conclusively the harm being caused by the products Big Pharma and Big Ag produce for the market, but they always claim, with help from their paid off friends in the media and paid off government officials, that those reports are "debunked" or "flawed" or whatever, so nothing changes and the damage to our people just keeps getting worse. Finally, in Mr. Kennedy, we have a dedicated person who can't and won't be bought off or silenced. Thank you, Mr. Kennedy. God bless and full speed ahead!
If the people behind the chemicals in the atmosphere are trying to control the weather, they are surely failing. Floods, tornadoes and severe temperatures aren’t good for crops or people. Look at the people behind the funding for these projects. Not just the name on the checks, but who gave them grants, donations, and support to get started.
How far it came? The kill shots are still on the market so they are the damaging vaccines. MAHA can celebrate but I assure you that most Americans do not buy the “intentions”.

Please get fluoride out of our water and get drug commercials off the TV. Please Dear Lord. Get this done now
Thank you for your attention to this matter

A great and natural follow-up question!

I am so excited that MAHA has its new office in Washington DC! Thanks to all the gathered leaders that have made this movement possible.
Congratulations! Celebrating every win!!
LOVE THIS! THANK YOU!
Thank you all for your dedication and hard work. Our nation needs you. God bless you all and stay safe.
