This is good news! I've used chiropractors many times and appreciate their contribution to my health.

Chiropractic is the second largest healing profession. Osteopathy is much smaller issueing a Medical License that at this point is indistinguishable from MD. Unfortunatly several Chiro colleges actually offer vaxs at their student clinic in a failed effort to pander to the Medical Cartel hoping to achieve the biggest slice of low back pain patients. That did not occur despite the lies told by managed care as it blossomed.

The fork in the road: Health comes from??? Needles? Nah a dismal failure

The Naturopathic model? Pretty close but they are not well trained at spinal manipulation

Chinese medicine and or Acupuncture? A useful piece of the puzze.

In '87 Chiropractors won a HUGE anti trust case against the American Medical Association.

You might have seen it published in microfiche is some fake news rag. Just saying.

Excellent! Chiropractors are great. Please consult Dr. Berg!! He's the best!

Chiropractors have long been motivated to find modalities to help people, which are not embraced by allopathic medicine. Some have talent, just as some in allopathic medicine, some in Homeopathy and some in Ayurvedic medicine have talent.

No need for blinders. Find what helps.

My primary source for healthcare I seek out is Chiropractic care first! This is wonderful! I wish that the two worlds could come together and work in harmony! Please include Dr. Eric Berg in your sessions! He is an amazing whole body health practitioner/doctor!!

Finally! The message we chiropractors have been trying to impress for over 100 years! Health comes from Above, Down; Inside, Out! The Power that made the body, heals the body! Chiropractic care is not about back & neck pain, it's about restoring good nerve supply back to the body -- a wholistic health approach. Every cell, tissue, organ and system of the body needs good nerve supply. Chiropractic care can help turn the "power" back on to the body!

Am thinking a doctor is a teacher. There are specialty disciplines. Health requires a life long study. Degenerative Joint dis-ease? Is it possible to slow, stop, or reverse??

There is evidence that the answer is affirmative.

TeeJae's avatar

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "nerve supply." Do you mean good energy flow through the nervous system?

Jackie McKool's avatar

Yes, you can think of it that way as well. Think about your house and your spinal column is the main circuit breaker. The nerves coming off the spinal column are like your individual breaker switches -- those switches then control a certain group of outlets in a particular -- those certain groups are like the certain organs of the body, and they branch off to the tissues and eventually each cell of the body. That is good "nerve supply". Hope I didn't just cause more confusion! But yes, nerve supply can also be thought of the energy to the body :)

Have you ever had numbness in your fingers or hands .. I have.. after a chiropractor adjustment.. the numbness goes away! (Usually my neck is the problem area)

truth seeker's avatar

Sensory nerves activated? Many words for arthritic changes.

TeeJae's avatar

Oh, ok. That sounds like neuropathy. Yes, I have. Good to know. Thanks.

Haldemann, MD, PhD, DC head of neurology at UCLA confirmed what our profession has observed through well-done, peer-reviewed literature. Patient outcomes exceed medical outcomes within our scope of practice in terms of efficacy, safety, economics, and satisfaction. Glad to see MAHA and Chiropractic communicating for better patient health.

Thank you, MAHA Institute, for expanding the reach of preventive and wellness medicine. Might you also include Bioenergetic practitioners? They are especially skilled with identifying root causes and personalizing treatment protocols.

Hopefully, they will now stop killing chiropractors, naturopaths, and doctors who practice integrative health.

there's no such thing as a coincidence. 86+ chiropractors, naturopaths, and doctors who practice integrative health prior to 2024 (I haven't read any updates). One of my chiropractors was killed in a very unusual accident about 9:30 on a Feb. night 2 or 3 years ago at a nearly deserted intersection.

I have used chiropractors for years and have been relieved of pain many times. I would often prefer to use it over other modalities. I have had one successful back surgery and exercise to prevent others. I would like to at least have financial support for a yearly wellness check with a chiropractor. I so appreciate what you do. Also, I would like to bring to your attention a new modality that tracks and kills parasites, bacterias and viruses found in the gut. We have been using it about three sessions about every 4 months. It is called the firefly and you may want to include it in your maha reports. Thanks for working so hard to bring us modalities that actually work. I am 77 and on only one drug for my brain, naltrexone. I can work 8 hours a day in my garden in the spring, summer, and fall so I say what I do is working. I prefer supplements over drugs whenever possible and find very good results. I am now using the pulsetto for my vagus nerve and am getting good results with calming my nervous system. I have to pay for medical insurance plus medicare and I seldom have to use it. Would love anything you could do to make these ideas more available and affordable to all....

Chiros evaluate and to some extent restore joint function.

Insurance is a giant scam that controls your "choice"

A great case is made for activity. Naltrexone (microdose) has many uses.

It is relatively non toxic and inexpensive.

This is a very positive alliance.

I’ve been going to chiropractors for the past 3-4 years. I was cancelled from Medicare coverage after about two years because “I was not Sick enough, and they do not cover HEALTH maintenance.” This past year I went again for a new episode. Though the Medicare Handbook says unlimited coverage in print, when you try to use it, only six visits per episode. The insurance mafia is a scam. They extort $205/month for drugs and diseases I do not and will not buy. They do not pay for Chiropractic care, acupuncture or therapeutic massage. I want my money back. So I can pay for my HEALTHCARE: not SickCare

truth seeker's avatar

As you correctly point out, Insurance is a mafioso scam. Always has been.

TeeJae's avatar

This is a great start. Now we need them all to push for the health insurance industry to cover this and other preventive health and wellness modalities, including therapeutic massage, acupuncture, homeopathy and other forms of energy healing.

And not just COVER the services but actually reimburse all the providers fair rates that include cost of living increases...I know for many, the reimbursement is almost the same for services now as it was 20+ years ago, which is why so many are no practitioners and providers are no longer accepting it.

TeeJae's avatar

What is wrong? Please elaborate.

TeeJae's avatar

Yes it would. I'm a RMT, so I can attest to that. :)

I’m a second degree.

The opportunity of better health likelihoods for all people with cooperation requires humility. (That's why 'medicine' is called 'practice', isn't it?)
