As a retired hospital pharmacist, what I noticed was the rush to give sedatives to a man who they didn't understand.

I noticed a lot of this in our society; it has been going on for a long time.

Anti-psychotics and anti-depressants to control adults. ADHD meds for children who may just need to go outside and play. All kinds of meds to treat "diseases" that are not really diseases.

This is all to make money for the drug companies and the politicians and bureaucrats that they pay off.

Sounds beautiful! I'm sure this book will light the way for those who need it and support them on their journey.

Yes, dream journals, time outdoors, movement and quiet, all of the above! I've found, too, that certain forms of meditation are so powerful for healing. As you expertly bring out in this piece, when noise recedes, insights arise naturally. No need to call them forward. Thank you for the lovely reminder.

And this is why I don't read fiction. Reality is stranger than fiction and for someone to make all this up is just a waste of time not to mention whose mind even goes to these dark places?

Whose doesn't? It's part of being human.

Who doesn't what? Go to dark places? Mine doesn't, it's pure negativity, a waste of time and energy. This is what's wrong w some ppl.
