If I'm reading this right, this is huge - Medicare covering alternative/functional medicine will be a GAME CHANGER for so many people. Now, we just need to get private health insurance companies to follow suit!
I'm not reading in this article that functional/alternative providers will be covered. I hope this is true but I won't hold my breath. I personally only visit alternative providers but it's really hard to pay $200+ cash visits each time, nothing at all reimbursed by Medicare. It never made any sense because they DO prevention. Anything helping this cost would be a dream come true.
May we both try to have alternative/functional medicine covered , AND, give the unlimited coverage for Chiropractic care that I use like the Medicare manual is printed (lies): even for health maintenance that SickCare won’t cover; only 6 visits per episode. My credit card bills mount up as I pay for my own healthy, appropriate choices. Massage on hold till I get my Michigan income tax refund. I have to pay more federal because I make several thousand more than my Social Security. More lies courtesy of our non-elder friendly government that you can make as much as you want. Only one year was it exempt as tax credit. Aged out in one year! While the government takes more and more.
The Insurance companies need to be non-profit like in the days when insurance actually covered things for a nominal fee from my paycheck. Their greed should be outlawed: and they should not be allowed any longer to extort money with the government’s approval. Right to choose if or what insurance should be the option! No forced “compliance “
I am a retired 67 year old family physician (early COVID treater, "vaccine" refusal firing in 2021) with traditionalMedicare, which I do not ever need to use. I am a bicyclist, meditator, organic gardener and vegetarian.
I am interested in details of this program, and would share them on my blog. drjohnsblog.substack.com
Thank you! Time for real HEALTH: no more disease and drug creation and lifelong suffering peddling and forcing on our country. Medicare manual is printed lies: says chiropractic care is unlimited coverage, but truth be told it is diff only 6 visits per episode. Chiropractic care is the best health maintenance money can buy. I pay out of my pocket. For several years now. Can’t afford massage here lately.
I’d really appreciate getting the $205 that Insurance Mafia extorts from my Social Security every month to pay my chiropractor, masseuse, and for natural remedies. I’m 75 , healthy, do NO drugs, and work full time.
There are only 4 causes of diseases: toxic exposure, nutrition deficiency, electromagnetic frequency and chronic stress. MAHA focuses on this, hence greens over drugs.
Can I get the $205/month extorted from my Social Security every month for SickCare that I will not buy, so I can pay my chiropractor, masseuse, acupuncturist, and to help pay for supplements? I am a healthy 75 year old who works full time to pay for HEALTHCARE not covered on Medicare. I do not use prescription drugs, nor buy any diseases. No vaxx.
I am a 78 year old female retired RN, Massage Therapist. I have been fulfilling my monthly “MAC” attacks for over 30 years. MASSAGE, ACUPUNCTURE, and CHIROPRACTOR…and not necessarily in that order..lol! I take 15 mg. Daily
Armour Thyroid. THATS IT! I exercise regularly 3x’s week and walk daily. I get an annual physical with labs .. I stepped away from traditional medicine years ago because it doesn’t treat the causes of your imbalances .. just treats symptoms.. I am very interested in knowing more about this program and promoting wellness. Oh…. I eat REAL FOOD!
As farmers, we've witnessed firsthand how, even at farmers' markets, folks skip past our just-picked fruits, opting instead for some gooey sweet at Starbucks. Going back to whole food is like withdrawing from a sugar-induced drug trip. It isn't easy and it won't happen overnight. Folks at Weight Watchers say there are no longer "points" for fruits - they are "free" in order to induce people to eat them. And still, those folks focused on losing weight "save up" their points for cookies.
sounds great on words however, $100 million is more money thrown at yet another bureaucratic program that will wind up costing more and delivering nothing. As outlined: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management are all well known but seldom practiced.
My mom's husband is in terrible condition and pain all the time, we found out that he can go to the acupuncturist 20 times on their insurance now! He's gone a couple times and it has helped. So thankful ❤️
This is amazing news! Seven years ago my husband and I changed to a whole foods organic diet (as best we can) and daily exercise. We also began seeing a wellness chiropractor for individual assessed supplements and bloodwork. It has transformed our lives, but it is very expensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The EPA just approved the herbicide dicamba after it was previously banned in the US due to its kown tendency to "drift". Basically it's sprayed and it drifts in the air to areas it wasn't sprayed, infecting the environment and people as well.
They plan to spray it on cotton… so this will affect our clothing
As a massage therapist and energy healer for decades, I’m encouraged by this focus on the root cause of illness. What I and countless others have provided is not luxury treatment, but real chronic pain relief. It’s been an uphill battle to be acknowledged for the work we have done in the alternative health field.

SickCare only sells diseases and drugs: a cured patient is a customer lost!
Agreed.

Indeed alternative care would be a game changer. Or they can give my money to choose Health over scams!

Once the public realizes these four, we stop a 4 trillion a year system: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/why-youre-a-healthcare-customer-not
what about mandated gene therapy otherwise known as biological warfare vaccinations to reduce population.
That would definitely fall under toxic exposure! I have a whole guide on the harms of vaccines as well: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-complete-vaccine-harm-profile

At last, preventive care!! It was hyped in the 70s, and we were told that HMOs would support preventive care. Not so much. Let’s hope this works.

Need to address the pesticide/chemical issues.
