Kennedy Caravan Reaches DC, Attends DNC Meeting
On Wednesday, Kennedy Caravan creator, Kyle Kemper, drove his RV, with Kennedy’s name plastered on its side, from New Hampshire to New York to Washington, DC. This kicks off a multi-state action Kemper and company plan for the months ahead.
Kemper’s mission: to attend the Thursday morning Democratic National Committee’s Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting, the consequences of which are major for the Democratic primaries.
The meeting was open to the public. Kyle, wearing a Kennedy hat, took a seat behind one of the speakers.
A passionate Kennedy supporter, Kemper told The Kennedy Beacon he handed out some fifty flyers to committee members, with Kennedy’s open letter printed on them.

Why was he so keen on attending the meeting? “Because ultimately,” said Kemper, “the decisions the committee makes will impact whether Bobby continues his pursuit of the democratic nomination or decides to abandon the party of his father and uncle to launch a third party or independent candidacy.”
He added, “We’re hoping for a fair, unbiased nomination process, including Democratic debates . . . . It’s important that I was there to help make sure Bobby is given a fair shake. America is of the people, by the people, and for the people—not of the party, by the party, and for the party.”
Members were “welcoming,” Kemper said, although he acknowledged that some seemed scared of him.
In February of this year, the DNC changed the timing of the Democratic primaries to, as they put it, “better reflect the diversity of the party.” They want South Carolina’s primary to be first and have set a definitive date of February 3, 2024.
The upshot of today’s meeting, if you take the DNC for what they say (as most big media do): Democrats in New Hampshire have been given an additional month to comply with the DNC's new election calendar, which has South Carolina’s primary first, on February 3 and New Hampshire, historically first in the nation, second on February 6, the same day as Nevada.
But why do most committee members want to shift these primary dates and make South Carolina first? It’s hard not to view this as anything but a bald power grab by team Biden. President Biden of course won South Carolina in 2020, and his supporters have a strong team in place there— not in New Hampshire. Biden, the thinking goes, has a better chance to win South Carolina and start momentum from there, rather than risk losing New Hampshire at the start of primary season.
According to New Hampshire law, their primary must occur one week ahead of all other states. New Hampshire Secretary of State, Davin Scanlan (R), said his state will proceed ahead of South Carolina. But if that happens, any New Hampshire delegates would not count, which means citizens' votes would not count.
Kyle is the half brother of Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, so he understand politics. But he’s interesting because he doesn’t strike me as a politician. He seems very kind, very intelligent, and someone who truly wants good change for all. I listened to his commentary during the Truckers convoy and he’s got vision, that’s for sure.
I’m furious that there is even a chance my vote won’t count here in NH. Kennedy is the best candidate the Democrats have and the best chance our country has to dig out from this mess we have put our children in!
