Rock on. Yet another critical issue being addressed. I didn't follow the Republican platform before the election, but I'm impressed with the good thinking that has been demostrated so far. On this issue definitely.
I hope some critical thinkers ponder on why, exactly, this is so over-the-top threatening to the vaccine cult. if their vaunted magic injections can do no wrong, what are they so worried about? you would think that they would welcome their faith being proven. and when it ISN'T, its not like they will all quit believing. they won't, no matter what is found.
Yeah. It doesn't matter how unassailable the study is. If it implicates vaccines, it will be derided as having poor methodology, or being a sham, or something. Things are so polarized here. Given that, one might wonder if any further honest science really can be done. And so I question the wisdom of doing this. But then maybe that triggers a debate on what IS good science, which would lay the groundwork for closer scrutiny of all the science Supporting vaccines. If I were HHS secretary, my focus would be on exposing how messed up all that is. Of course, both things can be done. I'm just crossing my fingers and trusting RFK's political savvy.

My prayer is that Kennedy can do his job and have ethical scientists working for him to find out about the rise in autism amidst other things. I worry about him being bullied into only doing things the way pharma wants him to. I see him being rather accommodating when I think he needs to be a bit more ruthless! He’s dealing with bullies and selfish companies, he needs to not let anything limit him, and we all need to keep our eyes on senator Cassidy! He was the winning vote to get Kennedy in and I think he’s holding something over Kennedy, was reading something on this earlier.
I know progress takes time. But I definitely think we need to keep our eyes wide open, I have no doubt that Kennedy wants to do what’s right for the health of our children and all Americans. It is my understanding that in the Amish community, he only ones with autism are the very few who were adopted AFTER having had some vaxxes. THERE'S your control group.

I hope EMF exposure will be investigated. Back in the 80's women doing data entry were recognized to be having reproductive difficulties. There could be mechanisms which also affect brain inflammation and development. In addition, American mothers may experience significantly more Prenatal Stress than mothers in other developed countries. This is because of the poor social safety net and the inability of most mothers to get adequate time off from work prior to delivery. Maternal exposure to high levels of stress during pregnancy (e.g., traumatic events, poverty, or relationship issues) can affect fetal brain development and epigenetic regulation. American mothers probably also have much more exposure to various environmental toxins than mothers in other developed countries where regulations limit exposure to wide range of chemicals present in food, consumer products, water, etc. i'll be curious to see how this all plays out if an honest study reveals that critical aspects of the solution include an expansion of healthcare, family leave, and environmental regulations.
