Sowell is a black academic economist who is currently a fellow with the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. By the term "populism" I mean the style of populism that was exhibited by Donald Trump during his presidency.

The outcome of the election for POTUS that is most favorable to the future of the American people is for the populist candidate to win the contest. This candidate is not REFK Jr. but rather is Donald Trump;. This being the case, it would be of maximally favorable to the American people for Mr. Kennedy to withdraw from the contest and endorse Trump. Under populism, the United States is governed for the American people as a whole by means that include imposition of tariffs on the enemies of the American people.
