On Thursday morning, flanked by FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary, CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, and other U.S. Public Health Service leaders, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced an historic break with ‘idealogical’ medical policies.

“Doctors assume a solemn obligation to protect children,” began Kennedy in making what was billed as an official declaration on the ‘Safety, Effectiveness, and Professional Standards of Care for Sex-Rejecting Procedures on Children and Adolescents.’ The HHS Secretary continued, “Yet doctors across the country provide needless and irreversible, sex-rejecting procedures that violate their sacred hippocratic oath, endangering the very lives they are sworn to safeguard.”

Kennedy said so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors constitutes “chemical and surgical mutilation.” The federal government, he said, will no longer fund transgender surgeries.

The declaration contains proposed regulatory changes that will govern treatments for minors whose behavior exhibits a rejection of the characteristics of their sex. It is based on clinical evidence presented to the public in the form of an HHS review published in May of 2025, and it follows through on a January 28 Executive Order signed by President Trump.

While the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Psychiatric Association (APA), and the Endocrine Society (ES) were invited to participate in the study, they declined to do so.

According to the declaration, sex-rejecting procedures are defined as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical operations that expose minors to “irreversible damage, including infertility, impaired sexual function, diminished bone density, altered brain development, and other irreversible physiological effects.”

The HHS team found that sex-rejecting procedures can result in impaired cognitive function, greater susceptibility to hormone-sensitive cancers, cardiac disease, and an increased susceptibility to a variety of infections.

In announcing the new proposed regulations, Secretary Kennedy said, “Medical professionals or entities providing sex-rejecting procedures to children are out of compliance with these standards of health care. This declaration is a clear directive to providers to follow the science, and the overwhelming body of evidence that these procedures hurt — not help — children.”

Commenting on both the psychological, and spiritual dimensions of the issue, Secretary Kennedy added, “There is divine worth in every person, and it shines most brightly in our children. That worth commands us to protect them, and as long as I serve as HHS secretary, this agency will do so.”

Dr. Oz added, “Children deserve our protection, not experimental interventions performed on them, that carry life-altering risks with no reliable evidence of benefit.” He added, “This proposal seeks to clarify that hospitals participating in our programs cannot conduct these unproven procedures on children. CMS will ensure that federal program standards reflect our responsibility to promote the health and safety of children.”

Oz credited President Trump for signing the EO in January. “This all came from the president’s executive order protecting children from chemical and surgical mutilation,” Oz stated. “Simple title. Descriptive. Accurate.”

In addition to examining data from the U.S., the HHS examined comparable studies from Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the UK.

As Sayer Ji summarized it in his Substack post, below are the six key actions HHS took on Thursday:

1. Formal Medical Declaration

Secretary Kennedy signed a declaration stating that sex-rejecting procedures for minors are neither safe nor effective and fail recognized standards of care.

2. Medicare & Medicaid Enforcement

CMS will bar nearly all U.S. hospitals from performing these procedures as a condition of participation.

3. Federal Funding Prohibition

Medicaid and CHIP funds will no longer be used to finance puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or surgeries for minors.

4. FDA Enforcement Actions

Warning letters issued to manufacturers illegally marketing breast binders to children, with seizures and injunctions possible.

5. Reversal of “Disability” Classification

HHS will undo Biden-era rules that classified gender dysphoria as a disability—rules Kennedy said served commercial interests, not vulnerable children.

6. Public Health Warning

The U.S. Public Health Service formally stated that evidence does not support safety or benefit claims for these interventions in children.

None of the recommendations impact adults who wish to have ‘transgender’ procedures.

Robert Redfield, who held the position of CDC Director from March of 2018 through January 2021, has called for the removal of mRNA Covid vaccines from the marketplace.

In an interview set to air on December 9, on Epoch TV’s American Thought Leaders, Redfield reportedly told The Epoch Times, “I really would like to see the mRNA vaccine use curtailed, and personally, I’d like to see it eliminated, because I think there’s too many unknowns.”

Redfield is a virologist and medical doctor with fifty years of public health experience. As a former CDC Director, Redfield is the most prestigious member of the public health establishment to break ranks with old guard vaccinologists, who never criticize vaccines and insist that all vaccines are ‘safe and effective.’

“I don’t advocate the mRNA vaccines anymore…it turns your body into a spike protein production factory,” Redfield said, “And spike protein is a very immuno-toxic protein.”

Redfield indicated that he has come to his conclusions based on his medical practice, where he treats people who have Covid vaccine injuries and long covid diagnoses. Redfield has often emphasized that doctors must listen to and observe their patients.

The mRNA spike protein issues have caught the attention of a number of vaccine experts, both inside and outside the government.

In late August, Dr. Vinay Prasad, Director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), issued a decision to narrow the number of people who should receive the mRNA Covid vaccines in a “Director’s Decisional Memorandum.” He noted ongoing problems with the spike protein. “There is growing clinical evidence that spike protein which is generated as a result of vaccination may persist for some time in a subset of individuals,” he wrote.

A recently published peer-reviewed paper, Compound Impacts of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccination . . ., by The McCullough Foundation, further supports Redfield’s call to end the era of mRNA Covid vaccines.

Open VAERS, which has reported on over two million adverse vaccine events since 1990, has documented 1.6 million Covid vaccine adverse events, including over 49,000deaths. This also supports Redfield’s call to remove mRNA vaccines.

Moreover, Redfield’s beliefs are buttressed by the FDA’s acknowledgement, in a leaked letter from Prasad, that Covid vaccines killed at least ten children.

While Redfield is a highly credentialed member of the mainstream medical establishment, he has always been willing to voice opinions that counter official consensus. Ultimately, he has often been proven correct. Redfield provides a history of his experiences countering accepted narratives in his new book, Redfield’s Warning: What I Learned (But Couldn’t Tell You) Might Save Your Life.

But challenging the mainstream narrative comes with a price. When Redfield expressed his belief that Covid was the result of an accidental lab leak, he was was roundly and ferociously criticized by legacy media. All available evidence now suggests that Redfield was correct. His book, Redfield’s Warning, in part tracks the perils of speaking truth to power. In a recent interview with Armstrong Williams, Redfield once again called for open, transparent and public analysis and debate of the nation’s preparedness for the next pandemic.

I should note that Redfield is not anti-vaccine. He has said he has taken the non-mRNA vaccines himself. He supports vaccination in the context of transparent vaccine safety data and informed consent. Still, he has stated in no uncertain terms that the Covid vaccine mandate was a catastrophic mistake and a key factor that led to the public’s declining faith in public health institutions.

Redfield supports Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., describing the secretary as a public health system “disruptor” who will transform the nation’s sick-care system into a health care system. “I believe that Kennedy will be the most consequential Secretary of Health in the nation’s history,” Redfield has said.

It takes one man with courage to recognize another man with courage.

In a vote of 8-3, the independent Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to end universal recommendations for infants to receive the hepatitis B vaccine.

The committee found that in place of a universal recommendation, “Parents and health care providers should consider vaccine benefits, vaccine risks, and infection risks.” This means that parents will be able to exercise informed consent when looking out for the best interests of their children.

The United States is the only major industrialized nation to recommend that infants take a vaccine intended to inoculate against a sexually transmitted disease. There is virtually no way a child can contract the illness unless born to a mother who already has hepatitis B.

Before it becomes official CDC policy, ACIP’s recommendation needs to be approved by acting CDC Director and HHS Deputy Secretary, Jim O’Neill.

The new recommendation says that “individual-based decision-making,” for parents deciding when or if to give the HBV vaccine, is paramount when dealing with a vaccine whose risk profile was found to outweigh any potential benefits to children born to healthy mothers.

In a second vote, ACIP recommended that all children should take Hepatitis B immunity tests before receiving the vaccine.

“I think that one of the slides that we saw earlier today suggests that the policy in the US is completely misaligned with many, many countries that I want to assume care about their children just as much as we do,” said ACIP member, Dr. Retsef Levi, during lengthy deliberations over the past several days.

Dr. Levi later added, “If you are a baby that was born to a mother that was tested negative for Hep B, you need to realize, as a parent, that your risk of infection throughout your early stage of life and probably throughout most of your childhood, is extremely low.”

During an impassioned defense of medical freedom and constitutionalism, ACIP member Dr. Malone said, “A core issue here that we’re not discussing, I believe, except perhaps Dr. Levy to some extent, is the right of self-determination, and by extension, the right of self-determination for the dependent from their caregivers . . . my personal bias is to err on the side of enabling individual decision making and individual rights over the right to the collective.”

ACIP’s decision helps to realign the U.S. with the rest of the developed world, while restoring America’s tradition of medical freedom.

This week, on December 4 and 5, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) will meet—and insiders predict the committee could vote to revoke its long-standing recommendation that every newborn receive the Hepatitis B vaccine.

If the recommendation is removed, it will be a historical moment—celebrated by vaccine-safety voices and the millions rallying behind the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement. It will be condemned just as loudly by the mainstream medical establishment.

It is extraordinarily rare for a vaccine to be removed from the CDC’s recommended schedule. It must be noted, however, that the United States would be aligning its use of the Hepatitis B vaccine with a long list of other nations—including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, as well as ten Canadian provinces and territories.

These countries report no negative health outcomes for children under their recommended schedules.

Vaccine safety advocates, and the millions of Americans who support MAHA, have long called for the Hepatitis B vaccine to either be removed from the newborn schedule or administered later in life with the patient’s informed consent.

Hepatitis B is a sexually transmitted disease. Since infected mothers can transmit the virus to their babies, pregnant women in the U.S. are routinely tested for it.

According to WebMD, “Hepatitis B and C have similar symptoms and are usually spread through contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected person. In the U.S., most people get infected with hepatitis C by sharing needles and other equipment that they use to inject drugs.”

Critics of the current vaccine schedule point out that newborns do not engage in sexual activity and do not use illicit intravenous drugs. As such, they argue there is no rationale for administering a vaccine on the first day of life that may lose effectiveness long before the vast majority of young people become sexually active.

Senator Rand Paul, who is also a doctor, confronted former CDC official Susan Monarez in a recent Senate hearing on the logic surrounding the CDC’s recommended use of the vaccine. “What is the medical, scientific reason and proof for giving a newborn a hepatitis B vaccine if the mom is hep B negative?” Paul asked.

Monarez did not answer Senator Paul’s question.

The ACIP will now address the long-standing illogic behind Senator Paul’s question.

While the expected decision to remove the recommendation for administering the Hepatitis B vaccine on the first day of life will be welcomed by many, the move will be derided by the Big Pharma–aligned mainstream medical community and legacy media. NPR quoted Dr. Sean O’Leary, chair of the Committee on Infectious Diseases for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), who said, “Whatever comes out of this disaster of a meeting in December is going to be mainly designed around sowing distrust and spreading fear.”

To understand why the AAP would oppose the removal of the Hepatitis B vaccine, it must be noted that the organization receives significant funding from the world’s leading vaccine manufacturers—companies the AAP refers to as its “Current Partners.”

President Trump addressed the issue during an impassioned press conference alongside Secretary Kennedy and other top public health officials. Appealing to the nation’s common sense, the president said, “Hepatitis B is sexually transmitted. There’s no reason to give a baby that’s almost just born, hepatitis B. I would say, wait till the baby is 12 years old and formed and take hepatitis B.”

The president said he would continue to push for gold-standard science, which aligns more closely with common-sense logic than the priorities of the pharmaceutical industry.

While mainstream media asserts that they are objective reporters, free from the influence of Big Pharma, critics point out that the substantial advertising dollars pharmaceutical companies spend on major U.S. media outlets create the appearance of a silent partnership.

In a move that will also draw criticism, the ACIP will begin studying the use of aluminum in childhood vaccines for the first time, an identified neurotoxin that has never received scrutiny from ACIP before. Aluminum in vaccines has been indicated as a potential driver of many health concerns.

One way or another, ACIP’s decisions this week will define the future of vaccine policy in America.

On Thursday, live from the Oval Office, President Trump, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, announced a new deal between the federal government and two of the world’s largest drug companies – United States’ Eli Lilly and Denmark’s Novo Nordisk.

The deal will allow Americans to purchase some of the world’s most popular GLP-1 weight loss drugs at sharply discounted prices. According to the agreement, prices of Novo Nordisk’s Ozempic and Wegovy will fall from $1,000 and $1,350 per month, respectively, to $350 or less. Similarly, Eli Lilly’s Zepbound and Orforglipron will drop from $1,086 per month to an average of $346.

As part of the new agreement, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk both have pledged to invest billions of dollars into onshoring drug manufacturing: Lilly, with a $10 billion investment; Novo Nordisk with $27 billion.

Secretary Kennedy called the deal a “momentous achievement,” adding, “Obesity is the number one driver of chronic disease. 50% of our adult population are obese or overweight.” However, Kennedy warned that weight loss drugs should not be seen as a panacea but instead an important “tool” in the broader fight against chronic disease that begins with healthier lifestyles, particularly among the young.

The discounted drugs will be available to Americans on the new government website, TrumpRX, which will be fully functional at the beginning of 2026.

In addition to discounts on TrumpRX, according to the White House, “The Medicare prices of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound will be $245, less than half the prices proposed by the Biden administration on such drugs. State Medicaid programs will also have access to these medications at these prices.”

Other drugs from the two companies will also be sold at highly discounted prices on TrumpRX, including the diabetes treatment, Trulicity, and the migraine medicine, Emgality. Both of these drugs are made by Eli Lilly.

Novo Nordisk’s NovoLog and Tresiba, insulin treatments, will also be sold at a major discount.

These are the latest deals that the Trump administration have made with major drug companies, which have agreed to sell products to Americans based on the Most Favored Nations (MFN) principle; they all are aimed at lowering drug prices in the U.S. so that they are in-line with those in other developed countries.

During the announcement, Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay collapsed suddenly as Dr. Oz, an experienced cardiac surgeon, rushed to help before the White House medical unit took. The press conference was halted for approximately an hour. When it started again, the press learned that Findlay was alright.

New, early stage research, released Thursday, appears to confirm a causal relationship between doses of acetaminophen — the primary ingredient in Tylenol— and childhood autism.

The research was conducted and presented by John Jones, Zacharoula Konsoula, Lauren Williamson, Rachel Anderson, Susanne Meza-Keuthen, and William Parker. It concludes that infants are particularly susceptible to complications from taking Tylenol with a common childhood vaccine.

These conclusions were based on 29 lines of evidence, which the scientists say create no reasonable doubt that Tylenol can cause autism in some children.

According to the researchers, “Although acetaminophen [Tylenol] use during vaccination is generally not recommended, the vaccine against meningococcal serogroup B (MenB), administered at 2, 4, and 12 months of life, is now recommended with 3 accompanying doses of acetaminophen in some countries with dramatically rising levels of ASD [autism].”

These findings come several weeks after the FDA issued an urgent warning that pregnant women and young children should not take Tylenol due to its potential to cause autism. Based on the new research, that hat potential now appears more certain. .

The scientists who researched links between Tylenol and autism strongly recommend that the MenB vaccine be administered separately from other vaccines. Furthermore, they recommend that this vaccine should never be taken with Tylenol – an approach, the researchers say, already common in Canada and Australia.

The research corroborates President Trump’s prior assertion that childhood vaccines should be administered with greater spacing between doses to prevent overwhelming young children’s immune systems.

Deputy HHS Secretary and acting CDC Director Jim O’Neill likewise called on vaccine makers to break up the MMR vaccine into three monovalent jab.

The CDC will adopt two key recommendations by the independent CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).

According to a statement from the CDC, immunization schedules have been updated to reflect the following:

–Covid vaccination is a matter of individual choice that can be made between a patient and his or her doctor. The vaccines are no longer recommended for healthy Americans under the age of 65.

–CDC recommends that toddlers receive the “varicella (chickenpox) as a standalone immunization rather than in combination with measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination.”

Since ACIP’s inception in 1964, the CDC virtually always adheres to its recommendations. Given this trend, today’s CDC decision should not come as a surprise. However, what is unique, particularly compared to CDC decisions from the previous five years, is a strong emphasis on medical freedom and radical transparency.

Commenting on the decision, HHS Deputy Secretary and interim CDC Director Jim O’Neill said, “Informed consent is back.” He added, “CDC’s 2022 blanket recommendation for perpetual COVID-19 boosters deterred health care providers from talking about the risks and benefits of vaccination for the individual patient or parent. That changes today.”

The acting CDC director further noted, “I commend the doctors and public health experts of ACIP for educating Americans about important vaccine safety signals. I also thank President Trump for his leadership in making sure we protect children from unintended side effects during routine immunization.”

In an official press release, the CDC noted that even prior to removing Covid vaccine recommendations for healthy children and adults, only 23% of Americans elected to take the most recent Covid booster, indicating both the lack of popularity of the vaccines, and a lack of trust in prior CDC recommendations.

Addressing the low uptake of the vaccines, the CDC wrote, “The booster shots prompted widespread risk-benefit concerns about their safety and efficacy as the COVID-19 virus became endemic following population-wide immunity acquired during the pandemic and OWS.”

Emphasizing the need for personal choice to define public health policy, the CDC announced, “Individual-based decision-making is referred to on the CDC’s immunization schedules as vaccination based on shared clinical decision-making, which references providers including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. It means that the clinical decision to vaccinate should be based on patient characteristics that unlike age are difficult to incorporate in recommendations, including risk factors for the underlying disease as well as the characteristics of the vaccine itself and the best available evidence of who may benefit from vaccination.”

Those who wish to take the vaccines will continue to be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Vaccines for Children Program. Additionally, vaccination will remain covered by those insured under the Affordable Care Act – aka, Obamacare.

On Tuesday, President Trump announced historic measures to lower the cost of prescription drugs for a majority of Americans. The deal, a partnership between the federal government and the private sector, is multi-faceted.

In a video posted on X, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. thanked President Trump for his “unwavering bravery and leadership.” And, on Instagram and other social media platforms, Kennedy said, “This would not have happened without President Trump’s leadership.”

Kennedy continued, “I told my 27-year-old son, who’s a very liberal Democrat, that this was happening – and he said, ‘Thank you, Dad, I’m so proud of you. Because this is something Democrats have wanted for 20 years, Republicans have wanted for 20 years. Everybody said they were going to do it. Everybody had tried. Nobody could make it happen. And it was President Trump alone who, with his doggedness and persistence, made it real.”

Trump Rx

The federal government will launch a website through which Americans can purchase prescription drugs directly from pharmaceutical companies at greatly reduced rates. The website cuts insurance companies out of the equation, further reducing the amount of money patients must pay.

Most-Favored-Nation Pricing

Through an agreement with Pfizer, all of the company’s drugs acquired via Medicaid will be offered for the prices paid by developed countries. According to the White House, these prices will, on average, be 85% lower than the costs Americans have long been forced to pay.

Trump said similar agreements with other drug companies are coming.

During the White House event, the president said that all new prescription drugs from Pfizer will be sold to Americans at prices commensurate with those sold to most-favored-nations such as Canada, Japan and other countries. Other companies are likely to follow suit, according to the president. Companies that do not comply will face 100% tariffs imposed on their products made overseas.

While Americans currently pay over 400% more than other developed nations for drugs made by American companies, the new agreement will bring United States costs in line with those of countries like Japan, France, and Canada.

Onshoring Manufacturing

The president said that his administration will continue to work with drug companies to move foreign manufacturing of medicines back to the U.S., thereby creating more jobs while assuring supply chain security.

Speaking alongside President Trump, Kennedy said, “Never has a president stood up so bravely for the American people with respect to healthcare. Because of your leadership, President Trump, we will get ‘Most Favored Nation’ done.” Kennedy added, “Americans should not be gouged, paying 300%, 400%, or 1000% more than people in other countries for the exact same drug — many times manufactured here in the U.S.”

The HHS Secretary praised the president for achieving a goal that had been fleeting for both Democratic and Republican administrations for decades. “No family should ever be forced to choose between filling a prescription and putting food on the table,” Kennedy said.

CMS Administration Dr. Mehmet Oz remarked, “We’re going to finally deliver on the fair drug prices that President Trump has been speaking about for two terms. We’re going to celebrate this historic day—I predict... in the medical field, for generations to come.”

Friday, in a unanimous decision, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted against recommending new Covid vaccines for the general public. The new guidance is broadly similar for children, adults, and seniors.

The ACIP now recommends that while everyone, including children over 6 months old, can still obtain a Covid vaccine, it can only be done following consultation with a physician. In a 7-6 vote, the ACIP decided against a related proposal that would have required a formal prescription for a Covid vaccine.

The ACIP committee also recommended that people with underlying conditions take the vaccines based on their personal needs – or, in the words of the committee, “individual based decision-making.”

Dr. Charlotte Kuperwasser

During day-long deliberations on the matter, Dr. Wafik El-Deiry and Dr. Charlotte Kuperwasser presented evidence that mRNA Covid vaccines can negatively impact one’s immune system following 2-3 doses. This can weaken immune responses in vaccinated people, making it harder for the body to naturally fight viral infection. This phenomenon can also lead to the development of tumors.

Committee members also presented evidence indicating that mRNA Covid shots can lead to lingering mRNA that cross the blood-brain barrier. This means that contrary to claims by vaccine makers, the messenger RNA from vaccines enters the brain via the bloodstream. El-Deiry and Kuperwasser say that it can remain there, and in the liver, heart, and testicles, for over two years post-jab.

During his presentation, ACIP member Retsef Levi, of MIT, warned of a lack of comprehensive data on the risks of mRNA vaccination to pregnant women and their babies. Dr. Levi also commented on known cardiac risks inherent in the mRNA vaccines, telling his fellow scientists,“Sub-clinical myocarditis can cause death. It’s proven. It’s not questionable. Nevertheless, we are not talking about this with patients, and we are not stating that risk.”

During the same session, ACIP member Dr. Robert Malone accused Pfizer of “editing” vaccine data the company presented to the FDA. A Pfizer representative declined to address the issue.

In another exchange between an ACIP member and a Pfizer representative, Dr. Martin Kulldorff pointed out that data from Pfizer itself revealed instances of birth defects were four times higher in babies born to vaccinated mothers when compared to rates in non-vaccinated mothers.

A Pfizer representative denied the increase despite the fact that data indicating as much appeared on Pfizer’s own website. When Kulldorff pressed for clarification, the Pfizer reps declined to comment further.

In another sad chapter of the long history of CDC corruption, Dr. Poul Thorsen, the Danish scientist the CDC employed to prove that vaccines containing thimerosal and the MMR vaccine have nothing to do with the rise of autism in the United States, has been arrested in Germany and faces extradition to the U.S.

Thorsen’s arrest was confirmed by investigative journalist, Lowell Cauffiel, at Breitbart.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Breitbart. “Thorsen has been number one on the Health and Human Services (HHS) most wanted list for the past ten years. I’m grateful to Pam Bondi for working with my agency to make sure he’ll finally be brought to justice.”

Thorsen was indicted by the HHS’s Office of Inspector General, in April, 2011, on 22 counts of wire fraud. To avert arrest, he fled to Europe; he’s been a wanted man for fourteen years.

Thorsen used CDC money to fund an organization called the North Atlantic Neuro-Epidemiology Alliance (NANEA), whose research used health data from Denmark – not American – to study whether vaccines were behind the rise in autism in the U.S. As I detailed in our August 8 article, Aluminum, Vaccines, and the Wild Boys From Denmark, Thorsen’s team had access to Denmark’s autism data.

The CDC needed Thorsen and NANEA because Americans are not permitted to access Denmark’s data due to Denmark’s medical privacy laws.

Thorsen’s NANEA research team included Anders Hvid, the lead author of a recent paper that also used health data from Denmark to claim that aluminum in vaccines are not linked to autism or other health conditions that are part of the chronic disease epidemic that Kennedy is trying to end.

Hvid’s article received significant coverage from Big Pharma-aligned legacy media outlets, such as this one from NBC. The network rolled out the usual pro-vaccine cheerleaders, Dr. Paul Offit and Dr. Michael Osterholm, who extolled the virtues of the Hvid study. However, NBC failed to scrutinize the actual data in the study and failed to report on Hvid’s connection to Thorsen. Hvid was a key NANEA researcher and published with Thorsen.

Thorsen’s fraud, and especially his connection to Hvid, taints any vaccine safety research that comes out of Denmark. In an editorial in Trial Site, Flawed Science, Bought Conclusions: The Aluminum Vaccine Study the Media Won’t Question, Secretary Kennedy called for a retraction of Hvid’s paper, for flawed research methodologies and conflicts of interest.

Anders Hvid was an integral member of Thorsen’s NANEA research team, which produced a series of papers in the early 2000s, used by the CDC to claim that vaccines “do not cause autism.” The research was valuable at that time because 5,000 families had filed claims against HHS’s National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (the NVICP, otherwise known as the ‘Vaccine Court’), claiming that vaccine injuries triggered their children’s autism.

In a series of decisions by the Special Masters who adjudicate cases in NVICP, Thorsen and Hvid’s research was used to rule against the families in proceedings known as the Omnibus Autism Proceedings.

Had HHS lost in the Omnibus Autism Proceedings, the compensation payouts to injured children would have been in the billions and the damage to the reputation of vaccines would be forever tarnished.

The CDC was complicit in using Thorsen’s research to deny justice and compensation for the families which had their cases wrongly dismissed by the illegitimate science that Thorsen produced.

CDC corruption damaged the health and violated the rights of vaccine-injured children and their families.

I located Thorsen earlier this summer when I was working on the Wild Boys from Denmark article. Thorsen was working as a gynecologist at a medical practice in Middelfart, Denmark. It is unclear when he traveled to Germany.

Thorsen’s crimes involve wire fraud. At some point prior to 2011, Thorsen gained access to taxpayer-funded accounts at the CDC and wired himself over one million dollars.

How did Thorsen gain access to CDC financial data?

A CDC administrator gave it to him.

Thorsen was known to be a Lothario who held extravagant parties for NANEA employees in medieval castles, drank expensive liquor, and lived the high life. A person I knew at CDC, who was familiar with Thorsen’s behavioral excesses, in 2011 told me, “Thorsen did not throw parties – he threw Roman orgies.”

In keeping with his reputation as a charmer, Thorsen became involved in “a long-term” romantic relationship with Dr. Diana Schendel, the CDC administrator who was supposed to be supervising him and monitoring his grant activities. In 2017, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) revealed that Schendel was reprimanded for Improper Conduct by her supervisor, Dr. Marshalyn Yeargin-Allsopp, MD., who noted that Schendel had passed“sensitive budgetary” information given to to Thorsen. Schendel was reprimanded – not fired.

At the CDC, no one was held accountable - until Kennedy took the helm.

Author James Grundvig wrote extensively about Thorsen’s racket in his book, Master Manipulator. Upon learning of Thorsen’s arrest, Grundvig told The MAHA Report, “I am shocked by how quickly Secretary Kennedy pushed through the bureaucracy to speed up Thorsen’s arrest. This is a major turning point for uncovering the corruption of the CDC and the vaccine industrial complex.”

Grundvig recalled a conversation he had with the late Dr. Edward Yazbak, was often critical of the CDC’s vaccine science. Yazbak had acquired information on Thorsen and CDC corruption that went back decades. “Dr. Yazbak told me that if the State Department ever brings Poul Thorsen to the United States, it will be a bloodbath at the CDC,” Grundvig said. The bloodbath has begun.

In the introduction to Master Manipulator, investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson wrote, “The fact that the CDC would contract with the likes of Dr. Thorsen on crucial research of vaccines and autism and never consider setting aside his findings after his twenty-two-count criminal indictment, speaks to the waning credibility of the world’s premiere health agency.”

Thorsen’s science is the science that the legacy media uses to claim that vaccines do not cause autism.

All of Thorsen’s papers should be retracted along with the rest of the vaccine research based on Danish data.

On Wednesday, The U.S. Senate will convene a Health Committee hearing to listen to fired CDC Director Susan Monarez explain why Secretary Kennedy is to blame for all of the problems at the CDC and why he cannot be trusted with ‘the science.’

The truth is that the CDC cannot be trusted.

The truth is that the corruption and data manipulation at the CDC goes back decades.

Those Senators who intend to defend the CDC and attack Kennedy as being anti-science should now consider whether ‘the science’ they are defending is fraudulent.

The veil of secrecy on the corruption of data and vaccine science at the CDC is being ripped away.

It represents the culmination of a carefully orchestrated influence operation — one that marries a biotech industry inside game with an outside media and political blitz — all with a singular goal: force RFK Jr. out of office.

Over the past several months, a striking convergence has emerged between BIO's internal lobbying strategy and a seemingly organic public pressure campaign. Leaked documents and public records reveal how powerful pharmaceutical interests and their allies set the stage from within, even as prominent figures and media outlets amplified a synchronized narrative from without. What might appear as spontaneous concern for "science" and "public health" is in fact the execution of a well-coordinated plot — one that raises urgent questions about who really pulls the strings in American health policy.

This investigative exposé lays out the evidence of that coordination: the secret April memo in which the biotech lobby privately strategized Kennedy's ouster; the chorus of outside voices — from Sen. Bernie Sanders' "Vaccines Work" press conference to a Guardian op-ed — that echoed the call for RFK Jr. to "step down"; and the impending Sept. 17 HELP Committee hearing, which stands as the choreographed crescendo when industry's inside game and a foreign-aligned media narrative converge. Minutes from that meeting, leaked by whistleblowers, read like the blueprint of a political coup. BIO's leadership bluntly concluded that "it is time to go to The Hill and lobby that it is time for RFK Jr to go".² In other words, the industry decided to leverage its influence in Congress to push for Kennedy's removal just weeks after he assumed office — a stunning gambit that has nothing to do with policy nuance and everything to do with power.

Why target RFK Jr. so urgently? Inside the memo, pharmaceutical executives fretted that Kennedy's "anti-vaccine"stance and reform agenda were "direct threats" to their business. One BIO member warned that vaccine investors were fleeing because of the "unpredictable" new environment.³ "Investors have stated they are leaving until the next data readout," reported Jim Wassil of Vaxcyte, noting there was "no opportunity to raise capital in the current environment" due to Kennedy's policies.⁴ In BIO's eyes, RFK Jr.'s push for tougher safety reviews and transparency — demands like restored liability for vaccine manufacturers, long-term trials, and an end to revolving-door conflicts — threatened to "render their current profit model obsolete".⁵ The "#1 priority at BIO" was vaccines,⁶ and a health secretary questioning any aspect of vaccine policy was an intolerable risk to their bottom line.

Equally telling is who BIO identified as assets in this fight. The April 3 memo names a cast of "strategic voices and allies" the lobby could deploy. Celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz was floated as a potential White House insider voice—though Oz's unwavering loyalty to RFK Jr. has since made clear that BIO fundamentally misjudged where his allegiances lie—and former GOP Senator Richard Burr as a conservative ally.⁷ Notably, BIO flagged Sen. Bill Cassidy as an "emerging influential advocate" on public health issues.⁸ Cassidy — a physician-turned-politician — was seen as a key figure who could champion CDC and vaccine causes in Congress. It is no coincidence that Cassidy now chairs the very Senate committee poised to hold the Sept. 17 hearing that will scrutinize RFK Jr.'s leadership. In April, BIO saw Cassidy as a friendly conduit for its agenda; five months later, he is presiding over the pivotal forum that could make or break Kennedy's role. The synergy is hard to ignore.

The leaked minutes also reveal BIO's broader strategy to "neutralize" Kennedy without ever addressing the substance of his critique. Rather than openly debating RFK Jr.'s points about vaccine safety or regulatory capture, the lobby planned to deploy surrogates and co-opt influencers across the political spectrum. By enlisting ostensibly independent voices — including conservative institutions like the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and even union leaders — BIO intended to create a "veneer of bipartisan legitimacy" for its anti-Kennedy campaign. The goal was to make the pressure on RFK Jr. appear broad-based and principle-driven, rather than originating in Pharma's C-suites.

Crucially, BIO committed serious money to this influence operation. The minutes describe a dedicated $2 million war chest — half of BIO's entire cash reserve — for vaccine "communications".⁹ This included launching a PR blitz branded "Why We Vaccinate" in the D.C. area, aimed at moving the "movable middle" with emotionally charged messaging.¹⁰ The memo is explicit that this campaign was not about education but behavioral influence, designed to "inspire and frighten" the public and lawmakers in the service of BIO's goals.¹¹ In BIO's own words, the messaging would emphasize "efficiency," "transparency," and "national security" — focus-grouped buzzwords to recast industry's self-interest as the public's interest.¹² The trade group even discussed not engaging RFK Jr. directly but instead targeting other officials around him and "using their words — safety, efficiency, health resilience, transparency — to communicate".¹³ In short, it was a classic influence campaign: hijack the language of public health and national security to undermine an official they viewed as a threat, all while hiding the industry's hand behind trusted messengers.

When a private trade association plans, in essence, to overturn a presidential appointment to protect its profits, it raises grave issues of democratic subversion. "When the nation's leading pharmaceutical trade group convenes a closed-door strategy meeting and openly discusses the need to 'go to The Hill' to push out a cabinet official, the issue is no longer health policy — it is democratic integrity," observed one analysis of the leaked memo. Indeed, BIO's April plotting came eerily close to condoning a coup in all but name — using lobbying might to negate the choice of the elected President and the Senate that confirmed RFK Jr. The memo even hinted at a timeline: it spoke of spending millions to ensure Kennedy would be out of office by September. That timeline is now upon us.

Manufacturing the Narrative: "RFK Jr. Must Step Down"

What began in secret within BIO soon burst into public view through a seemingly unrelated series of events. By late summer 2025, Americans were witnessing a chorus of authoritative voices — respected doctors, public officials, media outlets — all hammering a remarkably unified message: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is endangering the country and must go.While these calls appeared organic, each coming from a different angle, they in fact dovetailed perfectly with the insider strategy mapped out in BIO's memo. This was the outside game in motion, a narrative offensive to soften the ground for Kennedy's removal.

Consider the crescendo of public condemnations that unfolded in quick succession:

• August 2025: A newly formed "grassroots" organization of health professionals called Defend Public Health released a report outlining "horrifying" dangers under RFK Jr.'s HHS and explicitly called for him to be removed from his post.¹⁴ The group, comprised of 3,000 doctors and health workers, timed its report to pre-empt Kennedy's own "Make America Healthy Again" policy announcements, accusing his initiatives of "distracting the public"from real health issues. The message: public health experts find Kennedy unfit.

• Early September 2025: More than 1,000 HHS employees (past and present) took the extraordinary step of signing an open letter demanding Secretary Kennedy's resignation.¹⁵ "Our oath requires us to speak out... we demand Secretary Kennedy's resignation," the letter declares, accusing him of installing "ideologues" and endangering Americans by undermining vaccines.¹⁶ Addressed to Congress and co-signed by a half-dozen medical organizations, the letter (from a group styling itself "Save HHS") cites the chaos at the CDC — including the firing of its director — as justification for Kennedy's ouster.¹⁷ It is virtually unprecedented for such a number of federal health staff and veterans to so openly rebuke a sitting HHS Secretary. The fact that they went straight to Congress with their plea is telling — perfectly aligning with BIO's directive to lobby Capitol Hill for Kennedy's removal.

• September 9, 2025: In Washington, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), ranking member of the HELP Committee, hosted a dramatic press conference with the explicit theme "Vaccines Work". Sanders assembled dozens of clinicians and researchers in white lab coats behind him — a carefully crafted tableau of scientific authority — and proceeded to excoriate RFK Jr. for "sowing doubt about the efficacy of vaccines".¹⁸ Flanked by three prominent medical organization leaders, Sanders and his allies drove home two points: vaccines save lives, and Kennedy must resign. "We need an HHS Secretary who believes in science, not conspiracy theories...who listens to doctors," Sanders proclaimed, "Bottom line... Secretary Kennedy is not that person".¹⁹ AAI News, the outlet of the American Association of Immunologists, noted that Sanders' invited speakers all emphasized the proven success of vaccines and "the need for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to resign his position as Health and Human Services Secretary."²⁰ This press event was essentially a public shaming ritual, casting Kennedy as anathema to science. And notably, it put medical professionals — "white-coat messengers" — front and center, exactly as the BIO memo suggested doing via trusted surrogates.

• September 12, 2025: Sanders then took his campaign a step further — and overseas. In a move that raised eyebrows in Washington, Bernie Sanders published a blistering op-ed in the Guardian, the London-based international newspaper, headlined: "RFK Jr does not just reject vaccines. He rejects science — and must step down."²¹ In the column, Sanders catalogued Kennedy's alleged sins (from questioning germ theory to firing CDC officials) and concluded unequivocally: "Secretary Kennedy must step down." He wrote that America needs an HHS secretary who "will not engage in a war on science", pointedly saying Kennedy is "unfit to be our nation's leading public health official".²² It is difficult to overstate how unusual this was — a sitting U.S. senator using a prominent foreign newspaper to call for the ouster of a U.S. Cabinet official. Sanders' piece landed just days before Cassidy's HELP hearing, amplifying the drumbeat that Kennedy's tenure had to end. The op-ed gave an international megaphone to what had been brewing in D.C., ensuring that the narrative "RFK Jr. must go" dominated headlines on the eve of the Senate showdown.

• Also in September: Adding to the pile-on, nine former CDC directors — officials spanning administrations from both parties — authored a joint op-ed in The New York Times warning that Kennedy's leadership was "endangering every American's health" and was "unlike anything we had ever seen" at the agency.²³ And in late August, Sen. Sanders (along with other Democrats) formally urged a bipartisan investigation into Kennedy's firing of CDC Director Dr. Susan Monarez,²⁴ calling it an abuse that demanded congressional oversight. In other words, by early September, the political and media establishment — left, right, and center — was uniformly echoing the message that RFK Jr. was a menace to public health and had to be removed. From respected medical journals to cable news, the narrative synchronization was striking.

Far from being spontaneous, these developments show a clear through-line back to BIO's spring strategy. In April, BIO strategists talked about leveraging "trusted messengers" and third-party validators to carry their message, rather than the industry speaking for itself. Sure enough, the public case against RFK Jr. was made primarily by doctors, scientists, and bipartisan officials — those with built-in credibility. The use of white coats at Sanders' presser was a literal stage prop to signify scientific authority. The 1,000-strong HHS staff letter and the ex-CDC directors' op-ed draped the call for resignation in the gravitas of career public servants and luminaries of epidemiology. These voices gave cover to politicians like Sanders (and soon, others in the Senate) to demand Kennedy's head in the name of "science" and "public health," rather than corporate interest. It's a textbook example of astroturfing: constructing a facade of grassroots consensus to achieve a predetermined outcome.

Even the framing of the narrative was prefigured by the BIO memo. Recall that BIO planned to emphasize "national security" and a "healthy workforce" to rally conservatives and centrists. Lo and behold, the rhetoric from Kennedy's critics hit those notes. Sanders and the medical spokespeople painted Kennedy's stance on vaccines as a threat to children's health and national well-being. One former CDC official testifying to Congress described Kennedy's approach as undermining America's "health security" in a time of pandemic risk. By focusing on children, national security, and the "war on science", the narrative architects tapped into broad societal values, exactly as the lobbyists anticipated.

And of course, the explicit call for resignation — the demand that RFK Jr. "step down" — was repeated in almost every statement. It's as if all these disparate actors had the same memo (in one case, literally: Sanders' Guardian op-ed and the HHS staff letter both used the phrase "Kennedy's actions are endangering lives" and directly demanded his resignation). Such uniformity is not coincidence; it's coordination.

The timing of this coordinated campaign becomes even more striking when viewed against RFK Jr.'s actual standing with the American public. At the very moment that pharmaceutical lobbyists, foreign operatives, and political figures are declaring him unfit for office, recent CNN polling reveals that Kennedy enjoys the highest net favorable rating of any Trump administration official.

While critics paint him as a dangerous outlier threatening public health, voters tell a different story - RFK Jr. sits at minus 7 in net favorability, significantly outperforming other key officials like Pete Hegseth (minus 14), JD Vance (minus 11), and Marco Rubio (minus 10). This disconnect between elite opinion and public sentiment underscores a central irony of the campaign against Kennedy: those demanding his ouster are operating against the grain of popular opinion, confirming that their coordinated assault has nothing to do with public will and everything to do with protecting entrenched pharmaceutical interests.

A Foreign Hand: The CCDH Connection and "White Ops" Tactics

One especially disturbing aspect of this campaign is the involvement of foreign influence networks in shaping the anti-RFK Jr. narrative. Evidence indicates that the outside push against Kennedy was not only industry-driven but also assisted by a UK-based dark money group known as the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) — raising questions of foreign interference in U.S. domestic affairs.

CCDH, which fashions itself as a watchdog against "misinformation," had long targeted RFK Jr. due to his vaccine dissent. In fact, internal CCDH communications from January 2024 (months before Kennedy was appointed to HHS) show the group was planning "black ops" tactics against him. At a Jan. 8, 2024 meeting, CCDH CEO Imran Ahmed explicitly said: "RFK --- black ops being set up to look at RFK. [There's] nervousness about the impact of him on the election."²⁵ In intelligence parlance, "black ops" implies covert, often unethical operations. Here was a foreign activist declaring a covert campaign against an American figure — an extraordinary admission that foreshadowed what was to come.

What's more, CCDH's own strategic documents singled out The Guardian as a key outlet for disseminating their narratives.²⁶ The CCDH playbook literally identified the Guardian (a British paper) as the platform to place stories that further their aims. Fast forward to September 2025: Bernie Sanders chooses the Guardian to publish his op-ed lambasting RFK Jr., fulfilling CCDH's script to the letter. This is not a conspiracy theory — it's a documented linkage. The Guardian piece represents the culmination of a documented foreign influence operation that started with CCDH's planning and was executed through the very foreign media platform [the Guardian] explicitly named in those plans.²⁷ In other words, what looked like a Vermont senator simply sharing his views in an op-ed was, in effect, the final move in a UK-based campaign years in the making.

From 'Black Ops' to Bernie's Byline: The Documented Foreign Campaign Against RFK Jr.

CCDH's efforts were coordinated with British intelligence and censorship bureaus that actively trained U.S. officials in techniques to quash "anti-vaccine" speech.²⁸ A leaked UK government presentation from 2021 (obtained via FOIA) revealed how British agents advised the U.S. National Security Council on establishing "trusted flagger" programs to censor content deemed anti-vax. Imran Ahmed and CCDH were at the center of these transatlantic censorship collaborations. Instead of being scrutinized as unregistered foreign agents in the U.S., CCDH operatives received awards and funding — including pharmaceutical industry money. Indeed, CCDH's funding streams trace back to pharma-aligned foundations,²⁹ meaning the group that helped orchestrate the narrative against Kennedy was bankrolled by the very interests who stood to gain from his downfall. This is a pharmaceutical-information cartel operating across borders.

Seen in this light, the Sanders "Vaccines Work" presser and op-ed take on a darker significance. A U.S. senator — famed for railing against corporate power — was effectively weaponized as the mouthpiece for a foreign-directed propaganda campaign. Sanders likely believed he was simply defending science, but the talking points he echoed ("war on science," "conspiracy theories," "unfit for office") were precisely the narrative frames developed by CCDH and allied operatives in what some have called a "censorship-industrial complex." The very language of labeling RFK Jr. a purveyor of "misinformation" and "hate" was popularized by CCDH in their 2021-2023 reports. Now those labels were being used by Senators and the press to justify removing a public official. It is the realization of a strategy where information warfare replaces open debate: reputational destruction and manufactured consensus take the place of democratic deliberation.

To be clear, foreign involvement in and of itself does not invalidate criticisms of RFK Jr. But it casts a troubling shadow over the legitimacy of this campaign. American citizens did not spontaneously decide en masse that a cabinet secretary should be deposed for wrongthink; they were influenced by a narrative machine that had roots in London think tanks and pharma PR budgets. When the Guardian op-ed hit, it was the triumph of this influence operation — "not journalism, but the public face of a coup," as one commentator put it bluntly. A quiet coup, waged with press releases and op-eds instead of tanks, but a coup nonetheless — aimed at subverting the decisions of American voters and their elected government. The convergence of BIO's lobbyists, CCDH's foreign "black ops," and high-profile U.S. politicians forms a case study in 21st-century power brokering. This is how sovereignty gets eroded: not always through elections or laws, but through coordinated narrative pressure that makes it politically impossible for certain officials to govern.

All Roads Lead to the HELP Committee — and Sept. 17

With the stage thus set both in D.C. and in the court of public opinion, we arrive at the Senate HELP Committee hearing of September 17, 2025. This hearing now looms as the culmination of the inside-outside campaign against RFK Jr., the moment when the threads are pulled together. Inside that hearing room, the BIO lobby's inside game and the foreign-aligned outside narrative will finally meet — and if their coordination is not exposed, they may achieve their objective.

Sen. Bill Cassidy, the HELP Committee chair, will gavel in the session. Remember, Cassidy's emergence as a key player was anticipated in the BIO memo. Back in April, BIO saw Cassidy — a Republican doctor with a generally pro-vaccine stance — as an influential ally who could carry water for their agenda. True to form, Cassidy quickly positioned himself as a leading congressional critic of RFK Jr.'s CDC shake-up. In late August, Cassidy publicly called for a scheduled CDC vaccine advisory committee meeting to be postponed amid the leadership tumult — a move that aligned with concerns raised by vaccine advocates about Kennedy's new appointees. And when announcing the Sept. 17 hearing, Cassidy struck a careful tone: he praised President Trump and RFK Jr. for aiming for "radical transparency" at CDC, but insisted the Committee must ensure children's health is protected.³⁰ This dual messaging is telling — Cassidy is giving a nod to Kennedy's stated goals, even as he convenes a forum likely to undermine Kennedy's execution of them.

Crucially, the witness list for the hearing underscores how the outside narrative will be injected directly into the congressional record. Two former top CDC officials — Dr. Susan Monarez (the recently fired CDC Director) and Dr. Debra Houry (former CDC acting principal deputy) — are set to testify. Both have been outspoken about their alarm at Kennedy's actions. Monarez, in a Wall Street Journal op-ed after her firing, accused RFK Jr.'s HHS of demanding pre-approval of vaccine recommendations by a panel stacked with anti-vaccine voices.³¹ Houry, who resigned amid the turmoil, co-authored the New York Times piece that said Kennedy's behavior was "unacceptable" and dangerous. In short, the hearing witnesses will be delivering the same talking points found in Sanders' op-ed, the Save HHS letter, and other elements of the media campaign — but now under oath, with C-SPAN cameras rolling. We can expect testimony along the lines of: "Secretary Kennedy's actions have jeopardized public health and broken trust, and Congress must act to restore confidence." This will provide fresh soundbites to feed the news cycle (which, of course, will dutifully echo the "reckless disregard for science" narrative).³²

One cannot script it much better: the hearing's title about "Restoring Trust" in the CDC implies that trust has been destroyed by Kennedy's leadership; the witnesses will illustrate that claim with their personal accounts; and Senators from both parties will likely use their five-minute question slots to pile on. Already, in a Sept. 4 Senate Finance Committee hearing, multiple Democratic senators grilled RFK Jr. and openly called for his resignation, citing the CDC chaos and his vaccine stance.³³ That was a preview skirmish. The HELP hearing on Sept. 17 — dedicated solely to the CDC issue — will be the main event. It is designed to generate headlines and momentum, potentially forcing the White House to consider firing Kennedy or compelling RFK Jr. to voluntarily step aside.

In effect, September 17 is the endgame that BIO envisioned. The inside game (lobbying key Senators like Cassidy) and the outside game (molding public opinion via media and experts) converge in that single room. Cassidy holds the gavel that BIO wanted him to use, and the white-coat validators will be sitting at the witness table instead of behind Bernie Sanders at a podium. The entire affair has the feel of a show trial — not in the legal sense, but in the political sense — where the verdict (that RFK Jr. is guilty of incompetence and malfeasance) has been determined long before the hearing convenes. The operation's architects are counting on the spectacle to deal a final blow to Kennedy's credibility.

It's important to note that RFK Jr. himself will not be testifying on Sept. 17 (he wasn't invited to this hearing). This is quite deliberate: the goal is to condemn the accused without giving him a direct platform to defend himself. Kennedy did appear in early September at a different Senate hearing where he staunchly defended his decisions — insisting the CDC shake-up was "absolutely necessary" to fix a broken agency³⁴ and that he was removing those with "conflicts of interest and ... political agendas" at CDC.³⁵ He argued he was restoring evidence-based, transparent science, not undermining it.³⁶ But those arguments have largely been drowned out by the torrent of criticism. On Sept. 17, Kennedy's side of the story will be an afterthought, if present at all. Instead, the Cassidy-led hearing will effectively put "Science itself vs. RFK Jr." on trial, and with only one side represented, the outcome is preordained.

As news circulated late Wednesday afternoon that MAHA and MAGA supporter Charlie Kirk, 31, had not only been shot but had passed away, Health and Human Services Secretary Kennedy posted the below on his X account.

Kirk founded the conservative non-profit group Turning Point USA in 2012 and was responsible for modernizing organization, support and campaign strategies for conservative candidates. Many credit Kirk, who was so adept at reaching younger voters, with securing President Trump’s electoral victories.

During the summer of 2024, Kirk and his organizations were also among the earliest and most vocal champions of Secretary Kennedy’s endorsement of President Trump.

On Tuesday afternoon, the MAHA Commission to President Trump, established by the president in February via Executive Order 14212 and chaired by Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., released “Strategy Report: Make Our Children Healthy Again.”

The new report, 19-pages long, which includes 128 targeted strategies, supersedes the assessment released by the commission in May and a ‘leaked’ draft discussed in the media in August.

The report covers a wide range of health, environmental, and pharmaceutical issues that Kennedy and colleagues at the HHS have already begun to address. But it goes further, addressing areas never given significant federal attention such as conflicts of interest by federal employees, vaccine injuries, cumulative exposure to toxins (agricultural chemicals and chemicals in food), the mental health crisis exacerbated by over-medicating our children, and the root causes of diseases.

Moreover, it outlines specific actions the government plans to take – to end the crisis of chronic disease among America’s children – while it also enumerates initiatives that invite private sector and community-based collaboration with the government.

“This report is an incredible success story,” said Tony Lyons, President, MAHA Action. “HHS has gotten more done than any public health agency in history. The report shows a laundry list of more than a hundred major wins from the various agencies. These new programs, new directions, new research projects, laws, executive orders, and initiatives to make America healthy again are nothing short of epic. God bless President Trump for putting Secretary Kennedy in a position where he can end the chronic disease epidemic and make all Americans healthier.”

Page two of the report identifies four pillars through which the commission plans to fulfill its goal to “End Childhood Chronic Disease”: Advance Research, Realign Incentives, Foster Private Sector Collaboration, and Increase Public Awareness.

The following are some of the key areas covered in the MAHA Commission’s report:

Vaccines

The HHS and NIH will jointly research vaccine injuries through a new vaccine injury research program at the NIH Clinical Center. In addition to ongoing research on potential vaccine harms, the report pledges to create a culture of transparency and gold standard science underlying all vaccine development and recommendations.

The report also pledges to develop a world leading childhood vaccine schedule. Two additional priorities on vaccines include, “Correcting conflicts of interest and misaligned incentives; and…Ensuring scientific and medical freedom.” These represent a major break with past priorities when medical freedom was never promoted by federal health agencies.

Farming

The USDA and EPA (two agencies not directly under the auspices of HHS) will collaborate to help farmers develop high yield, cost effective farming methods that reduce reliance on traditional pesticides.

The report stresses a farmer-first approach that refuses to rely on “mandates.” Central to the private-public partnerships between federal agencies and farmers will be projects that emphasize soil health.

The report states that the USDA will begin to streamline the process of organic certification while helping farmers who wish to transition to organic farming.

Federal agencies will work collaboratively to increase food access and choice by removing restrictions on whole milk sales in schools, eliminating mandatory reduced-fat requirements in federal nutrition programs, and easing barriers for small dairy operations to process and sell milk locally.

Additionally, zoning restrictions on mobile grocery units in so-called ‘food deserts’ will be lifted; permits for grocery stores in underserved areas will be fast-tracked; and sustainable incentive programs will be developed with grocers to provide a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Nutrition

According to the report, the NIH, FDA, USDA, and AHA will collaborate on high-quality nutrition research and ingredient assessments.

The NIH will expand dietary pattern research for metabolic health, utilize the new FDA-NIH Joint Nutrition Regulatory Science Program, and USDA will prioritize precision nutrition research.

The report also states that, “HHS will add questions to the National Survey of Children’s Health that focus on nutrition.”

The NIH and CDC will further collaborate on tracing links between poor oral health in children and the onset of chronic disease.

The FDA will continue its ongoing work to phase out petroleum-based food dyes while the “USDA will apply the framework to food served through Federal nutrition programs, especially the school lunch program.”

The FDA will enhance its evidence-based systematic process for post-market assessment of chemicals in food, including additives, GRAS substances, food contact materials, and environmental contaminants.

The report adds that the NIH “will continue to fund research to deepen our understanding of the gut microbiome’s critical role in chronic disease development and progression in children to identify novel interventions that could transform preventive and therapeutic approaches.”

The FDA is considering changes to food labeling regulations to help provide more detailed, accurate, and clear nutritional information to consumers.

The USDA pledged further support to states seeking to remove junk food acquisitions from the SNAP program. The USDA will further develop “MAHA boxes” containing healthy foods for SNAP recipients.

Finally, “USDA, HHS, and FDA will continue efforts to develop a U.S. government-wide definition for ‘‘Ultra-processed Food’ to support potential future research and policy activity.”

Water

The EPA, USDA and relevant federal health agencies will work to ensure greater water quality with a specific focus on researching the risks of fluoride in drinking water.

The CDC will be informed of the findings of research into the dangers to human health of fluoridated water. The CDC will also be ordered to examine the health risks associated with PFAS (aka forever chemicals) in the water table.

The report further states, “Agency research could also include research to inform the understanding of levels of pharmaceuticals in our water supply that could be adversely affecting animal and human health.”

Fitness

Fitness is presented as a major component of the fight against childhood chronic disease. According to the report, “HHS and the Department of Education (ED) will partner with the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition (PCSFN) to help states and schools re-establish the Presidential Fitness Test.”

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) will partner with PCSFN to promote physical activity for children outside of schools.

Drugs & Medication

One of the main four pillars of the report is overmedicalization. Health agencies will encourage steps to move the nation away from a culture of excessive prescription.

The FDA will continue work to end animal testing requirements for clinical trials.

Multiple agencies, including the FDA, will expand New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to improve diagnostic accuracy.

The FDA will further “Facilitate the use of regenerative medicine innovation by modernizing policies as clinical data is established,” according to the report.

The FDA and NIH will partner to investigate the potential of repurposing drugs to fight chronic disease.

Agency Reform

As part of the wider fight against conflicts of interest and corporate capture, Secretary Kennedy will direct the FDA, CDC, and NIH to review participation in any projects or initiatives funded by food and pharmaceutical companies through the CDC Foundation, Foundation for the NIH, or the Reagan-Udall Foundation.

The HHS will undergo a major reorganization to establish the Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), a new agency focused on coordinating the federal response to the chronic disease crisis through integrated, prevention-oriented programs and streamlined accountability.

The HHS, in collaboration with the White House Domestic Policy Council, will reassess the Forum on Child and Family Statistics to re-prioritize its focus on childhood chronic disease.

Medical Health & Addiction

The report promises further research and actionable solutions to the links between chemical exposure, lack of physical fitness, and ultra-processed foods and deteriorating mental health in children.

The HHS and other relevant agencies – including but not limited to the FDA, CMS, and NIH – will convene a working group to examine prescription patterns of mental health medications for children.

This group will review diagnostic thresholds, identify trends in overprescription, and explore potential links between medicines prescribed to children and cognitive and mental health problems.

The NIH and HHS will strengthen a partnership to research the effects of addiction on overall mental health.

Autism

The HHS and CDC will continue to study environmental and other causes of the autism epidemic. A full report on the exponentially growing rates of autism will be released by HHS. This report is expected in September, 2025.

Chronic Disease

Central to each subsection of the report is an emphasis on rolling back and ultimately ending the chronic disease epidemic. The NIH will launch a new chronic disease initiative that will research the causes of, and develop solutions to, growing rates of childhood and adult chronic disease.

Additionally, “The NIH will launch a new Whole-Person-Health approach to chronic disease prevention research and leverage collective expertise across the agency to catalyze transformative discovery science and intervention strategies that promote wellness, resilience, and optimal health, including metabolic health, at all stages of life.”

Chemical Exposure

The report concludes that many childhood chronic diseases are caused by exposure to dangerous chemicals. According to the report, “The current regulatory framework should be continually evaluated to ensure that chemicals and other exposures do not interact together to pose a threat to the health of our children.”

The EPA, USDA, and NIH will create a framework to study cumulative chemical exposure, emphasizing new approach methodologies (NAMs) and computational tools, while EPA will enhance NAM based methods for assessing pesticide risks under federal regulations.

Russell Brand

On Tuesday, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to X to out the companies that fund the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), an organization ostensibly, as spelled out on its website, “dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children.”

Kennedy named Pfizer, Moderna, Merck, and French pharma giant Sanofi as the main donors to the AAP's Friends of Children Fund, noting, “these four companies make virtually every vaccine on the CDC-recommended childhood vaccine schedule.”

Why did Kennedy feel it necessary to out these funders? Because, since he began at HHS, his mission has been to eliminate federal employees’ conflicts of interest with the Big Pharma companies those employees are tasked to regulate.

As Kennedy explains, “AAP is angry that CDC has eliminated corporate influence in decisions over vaccine recommendations and returned CDC to gold-standard science and evidence-based medicine laser-focused on children’s health.”

The conflict between AAP and Kennedy is escalating. After the Secretary announced the end of Covid vaccine recommendations for healthy children and pregnant women, AAP was livid even though fewer than 0.1% of healthy children with Covid require hospital treatment.

With nearly all its funding coming from Big Pharma, it’s no wonder AAP is all in on childhood vaccines. It’s also no wonder the organization pushed back when Kennedy fired all 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), a board of doctors and scientists who advise the CDC on vaccines. (Kennedy has since restaffed ACIP with medical professionals who are not plagued by conflicts of interest.)

While Kennedy has said that he respects the AAP’s First Amendment right to offer opinions, the secretary added, “AAP should follow the lead of HHS and disclose conflicts of interest, including its corporate entanglements and those of its journal—Pediatrics—so that Americans may ask whether the AAP’s recommendations reflect public health interest, or are, perhaps, just a pay-to-play scheme to promote the commercial ambitions of AAP’s Big Pharma benefactors.”

Commenting on AAP’s funding structure, Mary S. Holland, the CEO of the non-profit group Children’s Health Defense (CHD) said, “The American Academy of Pediatrics isn’t protecting kids — it’s protecting Pharma. Instead of diet and exercise, they’re pushing $3,000-a-month weight-loss drugs for children. And now they want to eliminate all non-medical vaccine exemptions. This isn’t medicine. It’s profiteering.”

Takeaways:

• Secretary Kennedy outed the Big Pharma backers of the American Academy of Pediatrics that are funding a campaign to oppose the CDC decision to eliminate corporate influence in decisions over vaccine recommendations. The CDC is returning to gold-standard science and evidence-based medicine focusing on children’s health.

• Kennedy also advised that doctors and hospitals recommending vaccines that are not endorsed by the CDC will lose liability protection that was granted to them by the federal government under the 1986 Vaccine Injury Act. Any vaccines given outside of the CDC’s schedule that result in vaccine injury will have to be dealt with in open court, with full discovery, and rules of evidence. Big Pharma will have to defend their vaccine’s safety like any other drug.

Late Tuesday, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to X and other social media channels to announce his decision to end the development of 22 mRNA vaccines that were in development at a division of HHS called Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, or BARDA.

Kennedy explained that after careful review, scientists at NIH, FDA and HHS determined that the mRNA technology “poses more risks than benefits” for people with respiratory infections such as COVID or the flu. The HHS Secretary said the BARDA contracts total just under $500 million and that the money will be used to develop new mRNA vaccines that are safer and more effective.

“We reviewed the science, listened to the experts, and acted,” Kennedy’s X post reads. “BARDA is terminating 22 mRNA vaccine development investments because the data show these vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu. We’re shifting that funding toward safer, broader vaccine platforms that remain effective even as viruses mutate.”

Kennedy further explained his decision in a video produced by HHS.

“Over the past few weeks, BARDA reviewed 22 mRNA vaccine development investments and began canceling them. Let me explain why. Most of these shots are for flu or COVID, but as the pandemic showed us, mRNA vaccines don't perform well against viruses that infect the upper respiratory tract. Here's the problem: MRNA only codes for a small part of the viral proteins, usually a single antigen. One mutation. And the vaccine becomes ineffective. This dynamic drives a phenomena called antigenic shift, meaning that the vaccine paradoxically encourages new mutations and can actually prolong pandemics as the virus constantly mutates to escape the protective effects of the vaccine.”

He continued: “After reviewing the science and consulting top experts at NIH and FDA, HHS has determined that mRNA technology poses more risk than benefits for these respiratory viruses. That's why, after extensive review, BARDA has begun the process of terminating these 22 contracts totaling just under $500 million. To replace the troubled mRNA programs, we're prioritizing the development of safer, broader vaccine strategies, like whole-virus vaccines and novel platforms that don't collapse when viruses mutate. Let me be absolutely clear: HHS supports safe, effective vaccines for every American who wants them.”

According to HHS, proposals from Pfizer, Sanofi Pasteur, CSL Seqirus, Gritstone and others will also be rejected.

Despite Kennedy’s transparency, legacy media such as The New York Times couldn’t help themselves from editorializing in their news report. “It is the latest blow to research on this technology,” the Times wrote, before quoting doctors who support their point of view instead of the science of the NIH, FDA and HHS, who advised Kennedy.

The location: The National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The event: “MAHA Monday” (the second day of the USDA’s Great American Farmers Market 2025, a weeklong celebration of food, family, and farming to showcase American agriculture as part of the Trump Administration’s events leading up to the 250th anniversary of America’s founding next year.)

What Happened: Six more states agreed to remove junk food from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

On Monday, USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins joined Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-IA), HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. , FDA Administrator Martin Makary, and Gov. Patrick Morrisey (R-WV) in calling for more states to remove junk food from the list of food options low-income families can receive under SNAP, also known as the government’s ‘food stamp’ program.

Speaking at a press conference, Secretary Kennedy said, “Taxpayer dollars shouldn’t go to junk food that makes our kids sick. We’re fixing that—state by state, step by step—to Make America Healthy Again.”

Rollins signed waivers for six new states: Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. Five states had previously been granted such waivers – Utah, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, and Nebraska.

As HHS put it in a press release, “The SNAP waivers . . . amend the statutory definition of food for purchase and end the subsidization of popular types of junk food beginning in 2026.”

Other states, such as Montana, are likely to receive approval in the near future.

Rollins encouraged all states to become “laboratories” for a healthier America where chronic disease rates will decline as a result of reduced junk food purchases on taxpayer dollars. She acknowledged that junk foods are the most commonly purchased items by people on SNAP.

Multiple states have already applied for and received waivers allowing governors to end junk food purchases on the taxpayer-funded program.

Kennedy assured the country that this is not a ban on junk food, but rather a restriction on the acquisition of junk food on taxpayer dollars. To do otherwise, he said, would be using public funds to subsidize chronic disease.

Commissioner Makary added, “I hope to see all 50 states join this bold commonsense approach. For too long, the root causes of our chronic disease epidemic has been addressed with lip service only. It’s time for powerful changes to our nation’s SNAP program. The goal is simple—reduce mass suffering from diabetes, obesity, and other long term medical conditions. I applaud the leadership of Secretaries Rollins and Kennedy, and President Trump in going bold.”

On Tuesday, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. signed a commitment to remove the mercury-based preservative, thimerosal, from all influenza vaccines distributed in the United States.

This followed a recommendation by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and a 5-1-1 vote at the ACIP’s June 25-26 meeting at CDC headquarters in Atlanta. The committee members voted that all children 18 years and younger, pregnant women, and adults receive only single-dose influenza vaccines free of mercury.

“After more than two decades of delay, this action fulfills a long-overdue promise to protect our most vulnerable populations from unnecessary mercury exposure,” Kennedy said in a statement.

He continued, “Injecting any amount of mercury into children when safe, mercury-free alternatives exist defies common sense and public health responsibility. Today, we put safety first.”

With Kennedy’s signature, the recommendation becomes federal health policy, fulfilling the HHS Secretary’s commitment to restore trust with Americans by removing risk and still sustaining access to vaccines.

Before he was elected to lead HHS, Kennedy edited the 2014 book, "Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak,” which emphasized how evidence proved that mercury, a Neurotoxin, must be removed from all vaccines.

Efforts to remove mercury from childhood vaccines began in 1999.

HHS’s action on Tuesday marks the final step to remove mercury from all vaccines given to Americans.

An HHS press release, issued Wednesday, in part reads, “Secretary Kennedy’s newly-appointed ACIP members broke with long-standing inaction by voting to remove mercury entirely from all influenza vaccines, fulfilling the 1999 pledge and aligning U.S. policy with that of Europe, which phased out mercury additives years ago.”

The release further states:

“Vaccine manufacturers have confirmed they have the capacity to replace multi-dose vials containing mercury, ensuring the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program and adult vaccine supplies will remain uninterrupted.

The ACIP, composed of leading medical and public health experts, advises the CDC on vaccine safety, efficacy, and clinical necessity. This historic decision marks a critical step toward enhancing public confidence in vaccines and advancing the nation’s commitment to safer immunization practices.

Why This Matters

For far too long, the American people have paid twice for medical research: first through taxes, and then again at the paywall.

Clinicians, educators, wellness practitioners, and citizen researchers were shut out from studies that could save lives—locked behind $40 PDFs and embargoes designed to protect publishing monopolies.

This new NIH policy changes that.

• No more waiting a year to access results that could change clinical decisions today

• No more suppression of inconvenient truths via slow publication pipelines

• No more justification for public ignorance when public funding footed the bill

Beware the "Compliance Fees"

As with all reforms, resistance emerges — often masked as "compliance."

Certain academic publishers are already introducing new "processing" or "publishing" fees to compensate for the loss of paywalled revenue. This pay-to-publish model could shift the financial burden back onto scientists, small institutions, and even taxpayers.

Let's be clear: If a journal responds to open access by erecting new financial barriers, it should be barred from NIH contracts and subscriptions.

Access should not be sold back to the people who already paid for it.

A Deeper Look: The Filter That Quietly Disappeared

While today is a time for celebration, it also demands reflection.

We must not forget how natural medicine was targeted, suppressed, and systemically erased during recent years. One of the clearest examples?

In December 2021, at the height of pandemic-era censorship and medical orthodoxy, PubMed.gov quietly removed the "Complementary Medicine" filter from its public search tools.

That filter once allowed easy access to research on:

One click could unlock thousands of peer-reviewed studies. Then, overnight, it was gone.

The official explanation? "Low specificity." They claimed it retrieved too many articles—some not strictly related to CAM. While this may be technically true, the timing and silence around the change speak volumes.

Because this happened during the same period when:

• Natural medicine voices were being systematically de-platformed

• The "Disinformation Dozen" smear campaign was launched to target holistic health leaders (read our full rebuttal here)

• Google conducted "The Great Digital Book Burning" in 2018, burying natural health platforms from search results (read our exposé here)

• Federal agencies were caught colluding with tech giants to suppress dissent and label natural alternatives as "dangerous misinformation"

In this context, removing the Complementary Medicine filter was not just a technical update. It was a digital erasure. A quiet, bureaucratic, plausibly deniable form of censorship.
